Customer Service at its best
I can not agree with all the bad reviews.
I use Horseware rugs since many years, tried other companies but the couldn´t compete qualitywise.
Bought a rug back in Nov/2022 online directly at Horseware Ireland, this one got two weeks ago suddenly an unexplained defect, so I sent a meaningful video to show the issue. I got a new replacement.

Poor customer service
I contacted customer service as I had only used a rug for 2 days before the stitching on the tail flap came undone and it blew over my horses head. Luckily I was in the field so an accident was prevented. They took about a week to respond. I explained what happened, that I purchased it in a store when I was away last year and thus couldn’t go back to store. I sent photos showing how new the rug was. They didn’t acknowledge the potential accident and told me to go back to the store so provided useful no resolution to their faulty product. I will be sticking to Bucas in the future.
I’ve not even received my product
I’ve not even received my product. UPS are the delivery service. However they have rejected the parcel at the local depot and it’s been returned back to Ireland. The details/payment made at Horseware end are invalid. No phone details readily to contact horseware, reply times are very long. Great rugs but do not buy direct from Horseware. Really poor customer service. I’m in the process of trying to get a refund/altered delivery but takes time.

I ordered a different one and it has been delivered superfast. Compared to other companys horseware still knows what good customer service means
Worst experience buying direct from Horseware
Ordered a rug from the website which showed a neck cover with the rug. On reading the description in small letters at the very bottom it stated neck covers could be purchased separately. I then tried unsuccessfully to cancel my order on a number of occasions with no response. I never received an email confirming my order or an order number. I am now left with a rug which I am able to buy a neck cover for because it is the older D ring fixings rather than the Velcro last time I will ever buy direct from Horse terrible experience.

I did not receive my rug despite you gaslighting me with tracking numbers and emails saying it was on its way. I would not have minded waiting so much if it wasn’t for the emails promising delivery
Amigo Bravo 12 - leaks like a sieve
I've had an Amigo Bravo 12 since 2021, it never let a drop of rain through, but it was at the end of its life. I bought a new one, the rug was put on the pony and 4 hrs later the pony was brought in for a feed and the rug was removed. The rain had soaked through from the outside to the inside and it was very wet on the inside. It had rained but it was not heavy rain just persistent. The wet seems to be coming in on any areas where there was an attachment sewn on, but even the tail flap was wet which is indicates that it’s not sweat. Photos were taken. I got a replacement, and the same problem. I was then sent a further replacement, it was the new version with the three sucingles. They have made the surcingles so short that even extended to the maximum they wouldn't do up. So that went back for a refund.
I put this review on the Horseware website, but it's never appeared. It seems Horseware pick the reviews that suit them to put up on their website and only ones 4 stars and above. How convenient.
Not sure what's going on with Horseware but they used to be quality, reliable rugs, but have definitely gone downhill despite massive price increases.
Awful customer service
Bought a high neck turn out rug and was very pleased with it. Good fit and appeared good quality. However after only 3 weeks of wear the tail strap came off, no damage at all to the rug but the fastening had come off at one side along with the clip. Wrote to horsewear telling them this but no response at all. Very poor customer service will not buy again.
I will not be using them again
I will not be using them again, they have no customer service. I made an order only one item arrived, after 2 weeks and reaching out twice nothing has been communicated with me. We are now entering week 3 and I have had an email from paypal saying I have got a refund but nothing from Horseware.
The item that was refunded has remained in stock on their website the from when I purchased it so I dont know why its been refunded. I hope I am wrong but I wonder if it was a fake black Friday sale as I did buy other bits I would not have purchased it if it wasn't for this item.
The turnout blankets are NOT waterproof!!
The turnout blankets are NOT waterproof! I took it straight out of the bag and put it on my pony before it rained and when I went out to feed later that evening he was soaked and shivering. Customer service is non existent. Nobody answers the phone or emails and they deleted my comments on Facebook.
Order never arrived
Ordered a turnout rug.. two weeks later was still showing yet to be dispatched, finally received an email stating UPS had lost the parcel and the that the item is now no longer in stock, yet to receive a refund from this joke of a company. BEWARE

I am shocked !! Horseware ireland ... MADE IN CHINA. I paid 170euros last week for a horse rug amigo. This to me means i could have bought the same quality on Temu for 40 euros UNBELIEVABLE

This is a review on customer service the products have all been fantastic although I very much doubt the warranty’s stand with the lack of customer service! I’ve had issues with my latest order email help is no help at all I did try phoning I used a pay as you go phone as my contract is blocked from calling numbers outside the uk the call cost £20 and I didn’t even get through to a human from now on i probably won’t buy directly from horseware I’ll use sites that sell their stuff but won’t buy direct again
