Once you want to withdraw your interest from this terrible platform, you find out that it's basically impossible to cancel

They will continue to bill you no matter what until you close your bank card. I tested the water on AFGay.com
I was surprised and positively overwhelmed. It's a brilliant tool for meeting guys offline. Everyone is focused on the real meetings. Nothing like Hornet where it's all about bla bla bla and money requests. I'm actually baffled why guys fall for Hornet scam. Hornet scammers can be identified so easily. But there still must be a lot of users out there with limited understanding of digital behavior so scammers manage to find some gullible users to boss around with.

INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE

I was interested in trying Hornet.com, but after reading up on them, it's a flat-out NO.
The reason? The data they collect. Why do they need to know what SYMPTOMS of anything! I may have when I visit my doctor?? And any/all of my photos? videos? TEXT MESSAGES?? as well as my FRIENDS' RESPONSES? You've gotta be kidding me. There's more data they want, the greedy effers. Take a look when you look up their app in the store.
Unbelievable.

Rude and not customer oriented

First thing I did was uploading a cartoon character sitting with open legs and no bulge to show.
An hour later I was repremanded for having violated - if only little - their rules and would follow blocking if I did it, again. Just no concrete help on why it violated the rules..
Puritan Amis, next thing they'll do is ask me not to use a cork screw as a weapon?! Don't laugh, so happened to me in Disney Land, Florida, and, of course, I look pretty bad ass hardcore hell's angelic 😂

Anyway, with no help from the support - every answer was a link to their faqs - the number of profiles you can look at in a day is limited to basic memberships.

I do not feel welcomed by hornet and will consider leaving.

Can I recommend? Judge for yerselves.

Ignored Refund Request for Unused Auto-Renewed Subscription

I am extremely disappointed with Hornet and their customer support.

On June 22, 2025, my payment card was charged for an automatic renewal of the annual Hornet Premium subscription. I did not intend to renew this subscription and have not used the service at all since the renewal.

I contacted Hornet support immediately after noticing the charge, asking for a refund in accordance with consumer protection laws. I explained that I had not used the subscription and that I was contacting them within the allowed 14-day cancellation period. However, my refund request was denied with a generic response about their auto-renewal policy, and after that, my emails were simply ignored.

This is not how a responsible company should treat its customers. Hornet is ignoring not only my messages but also my rights as a consumer. I am now forced to dispute the payment through my bank and to file official complaints with consumer protection authorities.

I strongly advise others to be careful with their subscription policies, as you might not get any support or refund if something goes wrong.
