We make large hooded towels for toddlers and older children up to 13 yrs. All our towels are made from high quality Egyptian cotton, and feature a double thickness hood with a graphic trim, and a star or heart shaped pop fastener to keep the towel closed like a poncho, allowing the hood to be worn up or down. Our hooded towels are available in 2 sizes and 6 colours.

Used for an 18-month old. After the first use all is great. They’re very big, which we wanted and they’re thick which helps to keep the baby warm after getting out of the bath.

Uninspiring, not worth the high price
As a whole this hooded towel is not good value for money, far too expensive for what it is. It is simply a double layer of towelling making a hood shape, which is then sewn onto one side of a towelling rectangle...disappointing. For the price I expected the hood to be properly incorporated into the design, not just tacked on, almost like an after-thought.
The towelling material appears to be good quality, the size was good and delivery was good, which is why I gave 3 stars, otherwise it would have been a very much lower score. I definitely would not recommend nor would I buy again from this company.

Lovely quality towel but very short on…
Lovely quality towel but very short on my 6 year old. I was expecting it to be longer which would have been better after swimming. Really could do with being longer, and then would have given it 5 stars.

Did you buy a standard size towel? These measure 90cm from the tip of the hood to the bottom of the hem, but you might find our jumbo towel, which is 120cm from the hood to the hem is better for your 6-year old if she is quite tall? Although we give an age guideline, children vary in height so much, we suggest buying based on their height rather than age. Amazing product!
Excellent quality, amazing size especially if you have taller than average baby. Exactly what I was looking for. Soon will be buying another one and will get rid of all the other towels I have.. these two will be more than enough for Ellie. Really disapointed I didnt order two from the beginning. Totally worth the money!

We're really sorry to hear you were disappointed with your hooded towel SG, they are really thick and snuggly. We suggest hanging them out to dry or placing them on a radiator, then finishing them off in a tumble dryer as the best way of drying them quickly whilst keeping them nice and fluffy.

By far the best children's towels
By far the best children's towels. We have had two sets from Hooded Owls and the wash and tumble try perfectly. Our original sets are now 5 years old and are still in perfect condition - like the day they arrived.
The ribbon designs are great and the team always go above & beyond. Yes, the towels are expensive but from our experience, you get what you pay for, and they are most definitely worth it. Highly Recommend.
