I just want to share my (first and last) horrible experience with Hoobuy and advise people to stay away from doing business with them. Over the years I have been using different agents and with Hoobuy was my worse experience ever, nothing worked and I felt cheated during the whole process.

I noticed that they use different unprofessional technics during the whole process, once you place the order and they get your money, their main goal is to delay the different stages of the process, the longer they have your money in their pockets the better, so..... firstly they take at least a week to comunicate and place your order with the seller (with others this is done within 24 hours), then when the seller ship the items and days later arrives at their warehouse they will take another week to inform you that the item is there at their facilties (by others within 24 hours you have been informed the items have arrived). Another week will be taken to process and send you their lousy pictures for approval (be aware that they don't inspect your items at all and if you request extra pictures with measurements they just place the items inside those two rulers and you have to guess the measurments youselves as the items are placed in any position and not even close to the rulers). After that you need to wait another few days for them to process it to storage (in their case it is not within hours but rather days).

Then once you are able to finally have all your orders stored and you are able to process the shipment you get another nasty surprise, from dozens of shipping companies available in the market they give you 1 option ONLY, as such the shipment will cost you a arm and a leg (at least the double of any other agent, for less than 5kg to Singapore I have paid a whopping US$112, when usually that will cost me $30-40 max.).
Well.... your frustration doesn't end up here because when you receive the tracking nr. and you think your haul is on the way to you, it happens that this is not the case and your parcel is still with them because the days pass and you realize that you don't get any updates of the goods beiging on the move, which means they haven't ship it yet and the goods are still stuck somewhere for at least another 2 weeks untill it starts to move, (I usually receive my hauls in Singapore withing 10 days from shipping notification, this one has taken 35 days to be delivered).
So... folks, my advice to you.. stay away from doing business with HOOBUY NIGHTMARE agents.

The delivery was a little slow but other than that it has an awesome customer service, has been great. The products I bought were exactly what I expected, and I’m really happy with my purchase. It was all super smooth, and I could find everything I needed easily.

The sellers ship quickly as well, and the product quality is great. It’s completely different from what I read online, and I’m really satisfied!

Hoobuy is by far the WORST online store I have ever ordered from. The product quality is ridiculously bad – everything feels like cheap plastic, yet the prices are way higher than other online shops. There is absolutely no value for money!

On top of that, the shipping costs are insanely expensive, and you have to pay extra fees at every step of the process. By the time you receive your order, you’ve paid two or even three times the original price of the item! If you buy a simple T-shirt, the final cost becomes outrageous due to all the hidden fees.

Customer service? Useless! They either don’t respond or give generic replies that don’t help at all. Returns? Forget it! They make it nearly impossible to get a refund.

I strongly advise everyone to AVOID Hoobuy at all costs. It’s a complete scam, and you will only end up wasting your money! 🚨👎

I ordered cloth for my son. About 200$ worth. My mistake. Normally I try a first small order to check reliability of the service. This time, I started with a bigger order, and nothing was ever delivered. I did write to their customer service via chat and email, and except for an automated message, nothing. So to me, this is yet another company scaming people.

Is a scam you never get your money back and shipping is 200% more then your products

I placed an order with Hoobuy in June 2024, spending over 100 euros. Out of the entire order, only two products were ever in stock. I eventually canceled everything and requested a refund. To this day, I haven’t received my money back. Communication with the company is completely impossible.

Do not order from here under any circumstances. I strongly suspect this is a scam.

I have ordered from there in the past but like nothing hapent with my order it remained untouched for like 3 months and after a few months of waiting i got a cashback
