The hardware is great
The hardware is great, the app is great, the active development is great, the support is great. Everything about Homey is great. There aren't many tech solutions inside of the home automation spaces that are this well rounded. Athom does seem to have the secret sauce for a home automation hub that is powerful yet easy. I'm a tough critic and I have nothing but good things to say about the company and product.
After 3 years of Homey usage
After 3 years of Homey usage, I needed to contact Homey support for the first time with a Zigbee crash issue all 1-2 days. After 2 days I received a short manual how to reinstall the homey without loosing any configuration or device connection via Zigbee or ZWave. The fix was successful and easy to proceed. The contact to Daphne was pleasant.
Homey Pro Mini
Great product, and only had it for a short time, but had a very positive experience with the support team who resolved an issue with resident account invitations. Recommended.
Long time customer, there to stay.
Over all the years I've been using Homey's for my properties, I've only encountered two issues that I wasn't able to figure out and rectify.
I enjoy figuring things out and learning from the process, so I don't mind putting some effort into research before reaching out for help.
But in both of these two cases I had to reach out to Athom customer service for guidance in how to resolve the issues.
And each time I've been met with knowledge and helpfulness wrapped with politeness. Resulting in a pleasant journey where the issues has been fully resolved.
This give me the confidence to stay a customer for years to come, and recommend Homey to people with smart home needs and desires.
Great technical support
As I’m migrating from a previous HC3 , I found an unexpected behavior. I opened a ticket to homey support and since the first interaction the experience was awesome. Very supportive , fast time to suggest a solution and everything working fine . Very good experience.

Thanks to Athom Homey for a VERY good support and service. After the latest update of Homey, it´s a perfect system with all kind of possibillities with Zigbee unit´s. They have solved all issues with pairing different devices. Again also a thanks again for exilent support.

I have great fun
I have great fun, and use of the convenient, flexible and possibilities Homey offers for home automation. Nearly everything is possible, it seems. Currently I have had a problem with one of my Homey Pro's (early 2023). The support to be able to sort these things out have been tremendous. Currently I run a Homey Pro (2023) at my cabin, and a now (new) Homey Pro (2026) at home. Appreciate the possibilities and now also the support when something needs attention. Thanks !

Problem with installation solved
I had several problems with the installation and tried the different interfaces. The support desk helped me to find out that we had a DOA case. They were very helpfull to assembly and formulate the right information for the vendor.

Had an issue with a Homey Pro which was out of guarantee period.
Even despite that it was repaired (SW flash) by Homey for free !

I am very disappointed from Homey Pro…
I am very disappointed from Homey Pro (2026). I thought I would buy a system that supported a large number of devices, but I was wrong. It's an overpriced system that misleads users with false promises of 'plug and play' and stability. Homey uses applications to support various devices. There are some "official" closed-source apps that are supported by Athom and are updated very rarely. Most of my Aqara devices aren't supported, despite numerous requests to the support team. There is no integration for the Reolink doorbell, and many Tuya devices are also unsupported. Key features are missing and virtual devices rely on an unsupported app. I have a glowing, useless box in my living room.

I’m very happy with my Homey Pro from Athom. The device gives me the flexibility to create a large number of workflows, which really elevates my smart home setup. The support team is fast, attentive to customer needs, and always helpful in finding solutions.

Excellent product and excellent customer service
I had been wanting to take my basic smart home to the next level. So I bought the homey pro hub and was very impressed. It's easy to set up and easy enough for beginners to use but also advanced enough for experienced smart home users to make advanced flows.
As it's Matter compatible, there are 100's of devices what work with homey.
I did have a technical issue with the hub, but Homey were very quick to respond and got things going again. This gives me confidence in using Homey for the long term.
I highly recommend Homey.
