I have been sent a few products to test and I really cannot complain. I prefer to test home and kitchen products so while the frequency has been a bit slower than I would have liked, I got some interesting products to test and I am still using them.
All in all, good experience!

I'm disappointed with Home Testers…
I'm disappointed with Home Testers Club, I've been a member for a few years and Ive only received a handful of products. I use to log on daily, like reviews, post reviews even if I didn't receive the item from them, I engaged constantly because they say that gives you a better chance at being selected and still never got selected but I have friends who were less engaged, only logged in once a week if that and they constantly were receiving products. So I stopped, I'll log in occasionally now but don't get my hopes up. I'm using other product testing platforms that send me stuff because I do engage, I do my reviews.

Taking the time to engage with our website and increase your Home Tester Club points will boost your chances of being selected for exciting product trials, however, we always ensure members are receiving products most relevant to them and their tastes. This is why you must complete a survey when registering your interest in a trial. While you may be more active than another member, it could be that they fit into the criteria we were looking for when it comes to certain trials.
Don't be discouraged - new product trials are always being added to our website. We hope to send something your way soon!

My Home Tester Club experience over 50yrs
I’ve been a Home Tester Club member since early 2023 and in that year and a half I’ve done 19 tests, which I think is pretty good! Usually 1 per month. The products have been great! I’ve had all sorts of things (but no high-end gadgets or homeware yet). Here are the ones I remember- kitchen roll, toilet roll, vitamins, face cream, serum, foundation, spot patches, diarrhoea tablets, hand cream, tissues, kids vitamins etc. I have loved it. The app is useful and easy to use too, which makes writing the reviews easy after you’ve finished testing. They give you plenty of time to test the products too.
HOWEVER- since I’ve turned 50 I’ve noticed a big change in how many product tests I’m invited to - nothing at all in the 6 months since I reached that magic age! Now it could be coincidence, but something tells me it isn’t and the selection algorithm is set up to find more younger people than older people. I can’t find anything that backs that up, but that is my guess.
So if you’re over 50 and still receiving products to test great - I hope they start again for me soon because I love it

Please rest assured that we do not discriminate based on age. In fact, some of our product trials are aimed toward an older demographic as opposed to a younger one - all depending on the criteria we have been given to work with. Our community is constantly growing, and while we're glad we have such an eager group of testers, we have a very limited amount of product to send out. Since we are working with such small numbers of products, we must be diligent in ensuring that they are falling into the hands of those best suited to test them.
We hope to be able to send something your way again soon!

Disappointing experience with Home Tester Club (AU)
Have been a long time Home Tester Club member. Have completed multiple reviews. Up until a few weeks ago I was fairly happy with my experience... HOWEVER, I recently completed a Mecca survey. I received an email on 26 June thanking me for my participation and advising that I had won a $50 Mecca gift card. As requested, I responded to the email, but I never heard from them again nor have I received the gift card. I emailed them multiple times. Have tried phoning them - no one ever answers the phone. I have also tried messaging them on Instagram and Facebook... surprise, surprise - no response.
Seems to be a total scam.
Keep this in mind if you are thinking about participating in their surveys. Pretty disappointing.

The overall company is fabulous. I've tested many products and bought others to review. It's usually easy to leave reviews, sometimes the app gets a bit glitchy. The reviews are mostly legit apart from lately the rise of people with one word answers or repeating questions, you should be able to report comments or users for this because it takes away from the legitimacy of reviews.

I have been a member of the Home Tester Club for at least 2 years and it's great!! I have tested 23 products and hope to test a lot more. They are straight forward, you don't have to buy anything to apply, it's 100% legit. Don't be mad if you don't get picked for a test right away, just keep applying for whatever you can and eventually you will get something.
