25% cost increases in monthly fee over night !!
Happy with their system being responsive and easy to upgrade with additional components. BUT, just got hit with a 25% cost increase «over night» (OK 1 months notice) but still a big jump and no change to get out as your system is locked to a long term buyback plan of the system. Homely has run a campaign for years how other alarm companies take advantage of the customers- and nor Homely does the same! Think twice before commenting as with other companies you can cancel and get out when cost is increased multiple times above inflation.

Great price and service
We are happy that we chose Homely, because of their competitive prices and the possibility to buy and own the sensor pack instead of renting it every month indefinitely from the company (like other alarm companies offer). The sensors came with easy installation instructions and it was no problem setting them up ourselves.
Transparent company and good customer service.

Perfect system that is extremely easy to install. No problems and we are very satisfied. They have pretty much all you need to have control over your house or apartment and it’s really easy to install. Strongly recommended!

Terrible product and service.
I've been using Homely for just over two years, and unfortunately, it has proven to be the least reliable alarm system I've ever encountered. The sensors are prohibitively expensive, costing me more than 12,000 NOK in total, while the app is a complete disaster. It fails to function correctly about 90% of the time, and its user interface is terribly designed. The customer support is dreadful, leaving you to fend for yourself in case of any issues. They offer no hardware support, and everything comes with a price tag. For instance, getting the Smartlock to communicate with their home unit incurs extra charges, and the system's responsiveness is painfully slow. Even executing a simple task, such as setting up a notification when a specific motion sensor is activated, is a struggle.
The basic functionality I expected is lacking, and I'm horrified at the thought of how much money I've spent on purchasing all these sensors.
I definitely won't be making this mistake again.
