Worst company - Do not hire

I saw that we are not the only customers with a bad experience. For us it was the worst decision to go ahead with this company to install the covers. It takes 4 months to install the covers. First after we sign the contract they set up an appointment to install the covers. Because no one showed up I call the office to ask when they will come. The person that answer told me that we are not on system and so they can't give a date. I called the sales person and he said that I have to call the project manager. I called him and he gave me different reasons why they didn't come . Finally they send their worker to do the job. The worker didn't speak English so they didn't understand anything when my husband told them that the work is not done right. I call the PM and he told me that he will send someone else to fix the job. I sent him picture to show him that the job is not done correctly. I sent him several messages that he has to send someone to fix the problem After several weeks he sent one worker to do the job. The person sent was rude , disrespectful and talking with us very dirty ( my little kids were also present). He didn't fix the job neither. The PM said again that he will come to take a look . But he never come to talk with us . After 4 months he sent a new team to fix the job. This time they fix the job. Because the job was not done on time we asked for a discount. We lost time waiting home for them to show up to fix the problem. They refused because they said that at the end the job was done. But with what price ? We lost time and money . I don't like to write bad reviews but I am writing this one to let other people know what they can expect if they hire them.

Don’t Fall For It!

Update: It appears the one person who has helped resolve all the other negative reviews, Natasha, is no longer with the company. If you read the other negative reviews, you will see a consistent message. If the Regional Marketing Manager would have disclosed that they use contractors and not actual HomeCraft employees, I would have never moved forward. Unfortunately, they are tarnishing their reputation.

On Thursday, April 13th, I made the worst financial decision ever by trusting a very friendly, knowledgeable and persuasive Regional Market Manager at HomeCraft. I was sold on a superior product and an exceptional customer experience. Needless to say, I received neither after he left. The gutters have over 40 dents on all sides due to improper installation. As of today, they still haven’t been fixed or replaced. The Service Manager and same Regional Market Manager haven’t had the common courtesy to come to my house to access the situation even after I sent photos where I marked the dents with blue painters tape. Every time someone they’ve sent shows up, they have no clue as to why they’re here. The gutter guards that were to have 360 degree protection were installed with over 50 rectangular openings allowing in debris and was only discovered after I walked off their work. The fact that someone thought that was acceptable is mind blowing. After 3 attempts, this was finally fixed. This has been the most frustrating and stressful experience and wish they would just come and take it all off so I can go with a different company. All
I want is the product and service I was promised…Is that too much to ask? It’s a shame I had to write this review to get someone’s attention. Ironically, part of the deal was that I would leave a 5 star review, and let them put a sign in my yard to promote their company. Stay tuned for an update…

Worst Company

Predatory company simply said. They are way over priced and keep dropping price using BS marketing stories which aren’t true if you don’t initially just buy. So just say no and he will call the manager and give it away. I worked 2.5 yrs as a sales person for Homecraft. They hire people every week and turnover is out of control. I had 5 managers in 2.5 yrs and watched about 50-75 salespeople come and go in that time period. They treat workers horribly. I’ve had monies not paid including my last check which I’ll be taking them to court. I got fired without notice for a disability. The guy that fired me was arrested last yr. Ironic

HomeCraft Fails Again!!!!

HomeCraft, 500 Plantation Park Dr., Loganville, GA 30052. They say “Gutter Protection”, NO, it’s a gutter nightmare!!! I was promised they DID NOT REQUIRE CLEANING AND WOULD NOT CLOG!!!! Two weeks after installation I was calling to get someone out to figure out what went wrong!!!! They told me the “screen” would not allow the gutters to clog on top of the gutters!!!! They came out twice to clean the gutters on top and try to make the rain go into the gutter. I have a steep roof, same roof as when they gave me the estimate!!! I called TWO weeks after installation and explained that I had told the salesman I wanted something maintenance free!!! To stop the flood on my drive and my deck!!! He absolutely promised me that this would solve my problems with absolutely NO MAINTENANCE!!! The young man said they could come back to check my gutters but it would be a $75 service fee. I could not believe paying $2,900 for the gutters that came with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE and they were gonna charge me $75 to see why they were not working!!!! I let the young man know I was not happy and shortly later a woman, Sarah, called back and said they would come back but there would be a $75.00 service fee. I was furious and expressed my unbelief at their service 2 weeks after installation!!! Then a woman name Casey called and said the man I spoke with was in training, I guess the other woman was too! Anyway, she said they would come out at no charge. The so call “expert” they sent, said they needed “gates”, “extensions” and “reflectors” or “valley shields”. They change up the terminology to confuse you!! The man worked and cleaned off the gutters and after refusing to pay for his coming back to install all the stuff left off during the initial installation, they were no better!!!
I finally was given a copy of the contract and the three pieces of “valley shield” they tried to make me pay for, we’re on the contract!!!! WOW!!!
After a few weeks, the gutters clogged again!!! I sent more pics to show the clogging and the same older man, the expert, came back and when I stepped out my front door to walk around and explain in a very nice voice, that I could not expect him to come back every 2-4 weeks, nor should they expect me to tolerate the gutters not working as I was promised! He immediately reached over and started clapping very loudly in my face!!! A few inches from SLAPPING ME IN MY FACE!!! I honestly thought he was going to hit me!!!!
My daughter was in the foyer and was shocked!!! I am retired Army Veteran, with 34 years service, and that is just NOT something you do to another person!!! Especially not a lady! He was telling me to “shut up” with his aggressive behavior. How dare him! I told him to get off my property!! I called and reported him!! Not one call did I get back, apologizing for his “reckless” behavior!!!
The lady name Casey, promised me that he would not ever come back to my home again. I know I should have taken more action, but honestly, my family has suffered several crisis in the past few years and I just wanted to put it behind me!!!
I told her I would give them one more opportunity to “do the right thing” with my gutters, or I would do what I felt was right. Now I have to worry about the holes to the face boards!!! The rain pour is no worse than before the gutters, but I do have to get it fixed so that it does not hold the debris which will damage your roof over time!!
Today, was the straw that broke the camels back. A woman, who claimed to be the Casey that I had been working with, told me she was giving me “my options” and would not let me talk. She interrupted me then said she couldn’t talk to me anymore!! She lied on the phone several times. Well, I’m gonna show them their options now!!! I tried to be nice, but today was ENOUGH! And the fact I was threatened at my own home will be included!! I will spend 5 times what I paid for the worthless gutters to show them that I worked too hard for my money to be treated any such a way!!!! They should treat people better than this!!!!!
If I would have read these reviews before I would never have used them to start with!!
I may pray for them, but they will not cheat me out of $2,900 and treat me the way they have.

Mrs. Tatum your above statement is incorrect, We have offered to help multiple times and even offered free product. As i have tried to previously explain to you and on multiple recorded lines that the gutter protection is not what is clogged but is you valley shields. As it does stick up right to help ease the flow of water coming off your valleys, debris can get trapped behind that as once again it does stick upright this was also a product we installed for free at your requested. We did how ever offer multiple solutions and offered to take them back off free of charge as we only installed them per your request, however you have declined every solution to fix the issue. If you would like to proceed forward with anyone of the solutions we offered please reach back out to us we would be more than happy to help you.

This is a very wonderful Business and Bryce Behner was the one that came to my house and measured my gutters and explained fully what l needed. No pressure and he said if l needed anything to call and he would answer or get back to me and he has. Gutters put up and look great and do wonderful at a great price. Needs a 5 Plus rating.

Ridiculous Customer Service

I bought one gutter across the back of my house. The man came to give an estimate and we measured the gutters, downspouts, gutter guards, and extensions to direct water away from the house. The man called the office, listed everything and on speaker, I heard them accept the work and make a quote. They installed the gutters and I didn't notice until they left that they had not put an extension on one side, the downspout discharged directly at the foundation, which, obviously, makes the gutter useless for protecting the foundation from movement. I called and they said it wasn't on the work order. Evidently, the work order said to put an extension on one of two downspouts and leave the other side improperly draining at the foundation, which makes zero sense. They said they would come out and put one on, it would just cost a minimum service fee of almost $140. To put on a $10 piece of plastic. The service agent would not direct me to anyone to discuss it further but just kept saying that was "protocol." It's not a big deal, I went out and bought an extension for $8. My problem is that after spending $3,000 to replace half of my gutters, they would take no responsibility for their mistake or seek to resolve it in a way that showed they cared about people who can't afford their expensive product but shell out a lot of money believing they will receive service equal to that cost. Not in this case. I will never use them again.

Excellent workers

Excellent workers, clean and knowledgeable.
Recently, Robert came to tweak a few gutters and explain and fix a problem I thought I had. He is very polite and knew what to do to get my gutters working 101 percent. Very pleased!!

Do not contact this company

Updated 1/23/23 - Thank you for your response. The change in platform excuse was given to me over two months ago; working out the kinks must be a real challenge. As for robocalls, if you would like to contact me live, I will gladly play you the robo-messages I received last week.

Original Complaint: Do not contact this company. I have been harassed with dozens of sales calls and robo-messages from them for weeks. Despite multiple requests to be taken off their call lists and deleted from their sales platform, I continue to get multiple calls daily. In response to a BBB complaint, I received a message back from the company assuring me I would get no more calls from them and provided a customer service number if needed. I have received a half dozen calls since then. The customer service number goes to a voicemail system saying I had reached the warranty department. I can't speak to their product, but their sales practices are abusive and illegal according to the FCC. Beware!

Had a great meeting with Sydney McClure…

Had a great meeting with Sydney McClure today regarding having Home Craft Gutters put on our house. She was amazing, knew the product, explained everything in detail and worked with us to make an intelligent decision on protecting our home. I called for a free estimate for gutters and installation the day before a holiday. Was very impressed with the demonstration and samples of the industry's product. Was shown a video of HomeCraft's demo at a trade show and was blown away with how HomeCraft preformed against competitors!
I decided then that I would go with this company. Very excited that the install could be done on the next business day! The installation was efficient and professional. After they cleaned up, I was shown each downspout and asked if I was pleased.
I very happy. Later, that evening it rained! Before, rain was very loud, now it is very quiet!

I learned about Home Craft products at the Huntsville Home & Garden Show, and I am really in need of some repairs to my gutter system. Tiffany Stokes came out to my house to inspect and to propose a scope of work. She is very professional, has a positive personality, and she knows the gutter industry very well. It's been a great experience to work with Tiffany to schedule the project. Her pricing is very reasonable, and she works to get every discount she possibly can to help the home owner.

I'm a little older and wiser because of…

I'm a little older and wiser because of frustration with a well advertised gutter product on another house a few years ago. I spent time researching the various gutter guard products on the market and Homecraft met my needs. Nate came out and spent time with me explaining the company and the product which included a demonstration. We scheduled installation the next day. The team of installers came out, were done in a few hours and cleaned up after themselves. Nate and the install team were professional and polite. I recommend the company's product and the people providing the service.
