Lack of customer service

I purchased a watch as a gift 12/13/25. I had reviewed the validity and reputation prior to purchase and was excited to purchase a beautiful watch for my daughter. I was concerned the item may not arrive prior to Christmas so I reached out and customer service replied back within a few hours to confirm. I was impressed.
Fast forward to 12/25/25. My daughter opened her watch (which she loved) she set the time, wound the watch, and it wouldn’t tick. We spent 24hrs winding and trying to get the watch to work. It started briefly a few times and would then stop.
I reached out to customer service via their online form 12/26/25. I received an immediate response email with instructions on winding the watch… I tried again and still the watch would not work so I replied to the customer service email. Nobody responded. I waited a day, still no response, so I filled out another customer service form and again received the exact same instruction response. Clearly a generic response. I realized at this point that another email was sent by the company (automatically generated) that states they will reply within 1-4 business days and to provide photos of all sides of item as well as my address, so I replied to all emails with the requested photos and address. I still heard nothing. So then I jumped on a with the chatbot hoping I could be redirected to a live person. I again provided an explanation of the problem, photos of the item, and my address and invoice number. I was given a reference number and told a customer service representative would contact me this was 12/31/25. It is now 1/2/26. I have not received an email, phone call, or text from the company. It is so frustrating there is no phone number to contact. At this point I will be returning the item if I still haven’t heard back by 1/5/26 and buying another brand watch for my daughter. I’m disappointed because the watch is beautiful and my daughter loves it, I just wanted it replaced, however the customer service experience has made me no longer want to deal with this company.

Quality and professional service

Bought a Tremolo bandlet for my husband for a Christmas gift. It is well made and the presentation box that I opted for looks tasteful too. He loves it and I’m delighted with the quality. The presentation box arrived unprotected in a larger box and was scufffed. The bandlet would have been too small for him, even with the two extra links that come with it so I contacted them for more links and a new box. It was all swiftly dispatched with friendly and personal apologies. The customer service is very good. Highly recommend Holzkern!

We bought a wrist band for a friend, which was beautiful and very well made.

The products are unique, of high quality and very beautiful. I found the prices reasonable and the customer service excellent. I would strongly recommend this company.

Ordered a necklace for my wife for Christmas and it turned up broken! The stone that is meant to be attached had come off. Absaloutely shocking two days before Christmas 80 pounds. And no gift for my wife.

New Blissed: Non-functional wrist chain

Blissed (walnut and rosegold) is really beautiful, light and jewellery-like. I replaced my old Blissed with this new one, I really like the look of it. Unfortunately the design of the lock in the wrist chain has changed for the worse. The hook lock is changed to a lock that does not hold for long. This is my second watch of this new model bc the lock from the first one was totally broken (the return process was quite smooth). I’ve used the current watch for 8 months now and the lock has not hold properly for some time now. So, a bit of a disappointment there. The return policy says you can’t get your money back, only a voucher to buy a new one. Considerin taking the watch to a goldsmith here to put a proper hook in it.

FANTASTIC customer service

FANTASTIC customer service. The ring was bought to propose to my girlfriend and she LOVED it. I also got her a matching bracelet from our son and a watch for her birthday. The delivery was quick and everything was perfect

Excellent company to buy from and deal with.

I have no hesitation in giving the company five stars as when I had to return an item they were very helpful , always answered my questions with a day or so and were very supportive when the courier actually returned the item to me rather than sending it to them. The only small issue was the courier returned it to me as I had not put an invoice in an envelope on the outside of the package for customs. I had no clue I had to do this so it caused delay. I think the company needs to stress this to overseas customers. Generally though they are a great company to deal with and buy from.

I ordered a few things in the Black…

I ordered a few things in the Black Friday sale and was a bit nervous but the quality of the products far exceeded my expectations. The marble watch is especially beautiful.delivery was surprisingly quick, and I had a question about adjusting the watch strap which was answered within a few days.

Obsolescence programmée

Model: Star Blaze (Black)
Received this watch as a very special 40th birthday gift ❤️
Worn carefully and sparingly. Exactly 2 months after the 2-year warranty expired (26 months total), the crown completely came off in my hand and the watch stopped dead.
Customer support response: no goodwill gesture at all – only option is to pay full repair + return shipping from abroad.
For a €349 watch sold as a premium, sustainable wood & steel piece that should last many years, this really feels like planned obsolescence.
The sentimental value of my 40th birthday gift is ruined forever; it will now sit unused in a drawer.
I truly loved Holzkern’s aesthetic and story, but this experience has been heartbreaking. Adieu Holzkern !

Junk jewellery

2 stars for the amazingly fast shipping. 0 stars for the quality of the product (men's bracelet). It looked and felt like something from a dollar store. Very disappointed.

Nice watches but not what I ordered

The watch is very nice looking. I ordered the Askja watch which in the pic was dark gray/black metal with a dark wood color. What I got was a light/medium color wood and gray metal. I was looking for a specific color for my son's collection and not what was advertised. It appears to be a difficult company to find a return or even discuss the issue. But for the watch I got it is nice just wish I had gotten what was advertised.

A 5 star experience

All my communication with the Company has been entirely positive. They are quick to respond and are professional and friendly in equal measure. It was completely my fault that I failed to apply a discount code at the time of purchase. However when I contacted them to ask if it could be applied retrospectively they explained that although it was not normal practice, they were happy to do so, which was greatly appreciated. In summary, their Customer Service is outstanding and having now promptly received the beautiful bandlet and ring, I am happy to give an outstanding 5 star review.

Exceptional Customer Service

Ive bought my husband a Silver and Walnut bracelet for Christmas and being as he has rather large wrists was worried the bracelet wouldn't be long enough. When it arrived, it came with an additional 4 links but having added them, I realised the bracelet was still too small. I contacted customer service to ask how I could go about purchasing an additional 4 links and within 24 hrs I'd received an email advising that the 4 links had been dispatched and I would receive them shortly, free of charge!! Absolutely gobsmacked that they have sent me extra links, no questions asked and no charge.

The bracelet itself has come in a lovely wooden gift boxandblooks gorgeous. Can't wait for my husband to open it on Christmas Day!!

Must have tiny hands

Purchased a men's bracelet. I liked the look but needed to add links that they provide. The TINY TINY MINISCULE screws that connect the links are IMPOSSIBLE for a human being with human size fingers to work with. They are as small as the period that ends this sentence.
So, requested return. They supplied me with return label, and mentioned a return fee, but do not state what that is. This is going back to Germany so the fee could be as much as the cost of the bracelet!

If the connections are difficult to loosen, it often helps if someone holds one screwdriver firmly and the other turns the second screwdriver. It may take a little effort to adjust the strap to the right length, but it will certainly give you a lot of pleasure for a long time.

The return fee is stated on our website and depends on your country. For the US, it is $12. However, returns are free for our Premium Club members, so you can return any order for free if you have a customer account.
