Poor communication, unable to understand your staff, the application took 2/3 hours unexceptable

It was easy to do online and the price ws very competitive. Well satisfied

I got a quote on both holidaysafe and flexicover. It is clear they are run by the same company as the website is pretty much identical, and they had the same discount code offer on.
Holiday safe showed the exact same flexicover branded insurance policy, Flexicover Diamond, at a higher price (91.48 compared to 80.80) than on the flexicover website, presumably just to make the holidaysafe branded option, which they seemed to want to push on that website, look better value.

Has everything we need for reassurance while on holiday

I have used this travel insurance company for a number of years and have found it a very self explanatory site to use. There is always the phone line if you have any problems with experienced staff to guide you through.

My claim is a pittance, likely because of the stupid advice you gave via email when I was injured and requiring assistance. Your claims handler Collinson is also late in settling the pitiful amount. Won’t buy insurance from you again.

On the email holidaysafe sent to me following this review, I am just speechless as to how stupid the company is. I have already made my claims and it was messed up by a similarly stupid email when the accident happened. I am just going to reproduce their latest response here and let their next potential customer be the judge of whether if you can trust their product to help you when an accident really happens..

(Btw, no one contacted me… and I can’t figure out whether if they have registered in their brains that a claim was already made)

I note your comments about the information given to you via email. I understand at this point, you had not sought medical treatment and so at that stage, there would be nothing to claim. However, if you did later seek medical attention, the Claims and 24 Hour Assistance Team would be on hand to assist and you would need to contact them.

That being said, I have referred this to the claims department and asked they review your claim and contact you accordingly.
