Unreliable
We contacted Holstebro Flytte & Budcentral more than a month before move.
They came out to give us a quote after they looked around our house. We also agreed date. Boxes were available.
They emailed an estimate quote of 9.25 hours at 17000kr per hour.
We accepted, replying to that email.
We emailed again, asking when we could get boxes, to start packing- sometime this week was reply.
Boxes were delivered by the same man who came to give us a quote. Quote 9.5 hours at 1700kr per hour.
The day of the move we were up at 04:30 hours, the removal van & two men due at 07:00 hours.
We moved all the garden furniture & contents of shed onto our drive to help.
07:00 arrived & no removal van.
07:15 my husband rang them.
The same man started with, 'nothing in our system, are you sure it was us!'
My husband pointed out we had several emails from him & he'd done the quote & delivered boxes.
Eventually- oh yes, he could see it. Sorry about that! Can't do anything today, can do tomorrow at 07:00.
Angry doesn't cover it. Moving house is a big thing! What if the new owners had been moving in the next day?
So, we put garden furniture & shed contents away.
The next morning, again 04:30 start, repeat but the removal van & two men did arrive, a bit early.
The two men were great. Professional, respectful & quick.
Actual move went well & including their drive back took 7.5 hours.
Today we got the final bill.
No breakdown.
Just asking for 9 hours at the 1700kr per hour.
My husband replied pointing out the time they left here (we took a timestamp photo of them leaving), pointing out it would not be 9 hours.
A new email arrived with Bill for 8 hours.
No discount for not turning up on moving day!
My husband paid the bill but we are far from impressed. Definitely couldn't recommend them.
Again, I must stress, the actual removal men get 5 stars. The admin 1 star.
