My Daughter and I had a Bee Experience on Sunday 27th July 2025. We were booked in for a previous session but sadly it had to be cancelled due to the rain.
On arrival we were given instructions on what to expect and kitted out in a bee suit.
Damson show us a full hive stripping it down level by level explaining what was taking place in each level. We were able to lift out a frame and hold them up to view the bees close up.
It was a fantastic experience and one I would do again. I recommend this to all.

I have just completed a ten week bee keeping course for beginners. Damson is so knowledgeable about beekeeping and is a brilliant communicator making every session informative and fun. Really looking forward to the practical session that she is organising soon. We will be in very good hands

We have just completed a ten week bee keeping course which has prepared our community group for the arrival of her royal highness in May 25. The structure, material and delivery of the lessons were perfect for a naive bee-ginner like myself and I now know my Drones from my workers, brood from the supers and the Sacbrood from Nosema.
Damson is the bee oracle, and regardless of our regular smorgasbord of questions during class she had all the answers. From what started as an interest in bees has now become a fully blown obsession, I even dream about them and this all due to Damson's infectious passion. Thanks to you Damson, this community is now ready to serve the hive.

After going on this course I feel ready to start bee keeping. The materials and course notes were clearly delivered in a comprehensive and friendly atmosphere. I am very happy to give this course a 5 star review.

Damson is the bee's knees. She is so good at her job (in our case, rescuing a colony from the rafters whilst keeping the queen safe) and has a lovely personality. And she is so informative. I learnt so much that morning - thank you Damson
