No Qualified applicants

We received 0 Qualified applicants.. Monster does not seem to attract the right applicants for a true small service business. Comparing to the other websites that Monster is price competitive with. We never received one qualified applicant.

Monster Review

I am an employer and I received much more value in terms of qualified resumes from Indeed and Zip Recruiter with Indeed being by far the best value.

Terrible ROI

We received less than 10 applicants in the same timeframe we ran a concurrent job post on Indeed.com. We received over 350 applicants through Indeed. Needless to say, I know where I'll be spending our money the next time we need to hire. It won't be on Monster.com.

Very Disappointed

I normally use another site for my hiring needs. We decided to try Monster this time. Not only was it expensive, I've gotten very few applicants. I won't use Monster again.

horrible customer service

I was given conflicting information regarding a refund. As I was working with higher management to gain one, the customer service was horrible. The area manager felt it appropriate to let me know how she felt about me on a personal level. This is completely unprofessional. She had a mentality in which It was necessary to have the last word. Regardless, unkind words about a person have no place in a professional environment.

Worth the cost

We needed to hire a CDL truck driver and we weren't having any luck. Tried listing on Monster and qualified candidates came out of nowhere! Very satisfied. Was hesitant to sign up initially because of the cost but in the long-run... it proved beneficial.

irrelevant resumes received

went with monster to try it out, but we received a lot of irrelevant resumes. We are dissatisfied with the results for the amount we paid and will not be using Monster again. We have gotten far more relevant resumes through indeed which was free.

Excellent peole easy to work with

Since my post was such a small segment of the job search they offered at N/C to view there resumes to see if any one fit my job profile. There were a few that were close, but none that worked out. I would recommend them to anyone looking to hire for your business even if it is very unique type of business

Grossly overpriced, severely poor quality service

This hiring service was the poorest quality service we used on a recent recruitment campaign. I was fed CVs from applicants who were in a completely different sector than that of the position and did not gain a single lead from two 30-day campaigns. What a colossal waste of money. Never use this service.

Looking for candidates

Did not get many applicants, only received 3. Of which none where qualified. Used the same wording in indeed and received over 50 qualified candidates.

Disapointed

We are very disappointed with the response we are getting from our ad with Monster. The resumes we received when we first started, were very old and had no response from the ones we contacted. Maybe we should have written our ad differently. If so please have someone contact us.Either via email or my phone.

New experience with hiring through Monster

We had never placed an ad on line before and had always used the local newspaper which would have provided a small ad for 3 days at 2/3 of the cost of Monster. We received over 30 applications in less than 2 weeks, and were able to hire someone within that period of time. I would strongly recommend using Monster for any employer who is needing another employee.
