should have known better

same as a lot of people here payment was rejected but the money is gone
opened already about 5 tickets to they're site after each i only get an automatic reply..
and nothing more they never answer its been already a week and nothing

im not concerned about my money but how are they still online? for so many years? i have been reading online about them..
and since 2010 people have been complaining about payments rejected and money still taken... so what is going on and why is there no one to complain to about stuff like this?

AVOID AT ALL COST

I was building a website and made a transaction to test my site. I tried to refund myself but HiPay are refusing saying they will only issue a refund minus their own commission.

I sincerely doubt they are a genuine company - if they are genuine then they need to seriously get a damn grip on how to run a company and improve their customer service (and standard of English for that matter).

Also some of the graphics I see on their website seem to have been taken directly from the P.....l website, which is suspect in itself.

Use other online wallets/payment options instead

Awful service used by shady merchants. Unlike the its competitor that starts with P, which would assist you if you have problems with their merchant, this company does nothing at all. They do not realize that when a merchant does not deliver, it also reflects on the quality of their service as an online wallet/payment option. It makes the customer feel that they aided in the scam of the merchant as they admit no responsibility by saying: "we are just a payment service." Banks are even fined and penalized for allowing money launderers to use their service. same goes even if you are just an online payment option, because you help shady and fraudulent merchants to exist in the internet. People should stay away from this company

Card charged although it rejected my card details

I was redirected to the HiPay site to make the payment for £45 worth of goods. I have a PayPal card (MasterCard), which I used for completing the order.

Upon submission it showed me a message stating that the transaction had been declined. I was then redirected back to the merchant's website. I thought I may have entered the wrong details so I tried it again but to no avail. The same thing happened, i.e. declined transaction -> redirected back to merchant's site.

I therefore gave up and used my HSBC Visa Debit card instead. This went through without a hitch.

I then checked my email to confirm that the order had gone through correctly. Waiting for me in my inbox were 2 emails from PayPal confirming that I had sent 2 payments of £45 each.

Therefore I've now made 3 payments of £45 (2 from PayPal, 1 from HSBC). I find it completely unacceptable that a payment solution such as HiPay can't even implement a system which correctly identifies when a payment has gone through.

I will now have to waste time reversing the 2 additional payments.

I will not be using HiPay again.

Unwilling

I paid using Hipay to order with what turned out to be a fraudulent webshop. My request to cancel and refund my payment was denied almost immediately. Speak of not willing to help.... What a difference from the likes of Paypal. Don't use these guys if you can pay with a credible payment service. In fact, don't buy with sites that only offer these guys....
