They have a huge issue with banning ppl for no reason, all the while when you report sexoffenders, they get to keep their profile.
This app is super dangerous for women, and I'd advise any woman to stay off Hinge and Tinder.

Hinge is not good for somebody dating with intention. It's business model relies on return users not successful relationships. Furthermore it's process for dealing with member complaints is flawed. I received a disgruntled member whom I politely had told I didn't feel we had chemistry after a date, tell me she was going to 'show me' and report my profile, which she did. My profile was banned without recourse. Report hinge to the BBB as they act as a law unto themselves.

This app is absolutely useless and ridiculous. It’s full of empty and false promises. They remove you from the app for no real reason and then lie, saying you made a mistake or violated the rules, just to force you to share your identification documents with them. They did the same thing to me. After I submitted my documents, they let me stay on the app for one week, then blocked me again for no reason. Customer service is terrible—they never respond. Don’t be fooled by them; they’re scammers.

I was banned within hours of setting up my profile - no reason given. All the photos were of me, I even completed facial verification to prove it’s me, no wording was inappropriate at all - yet I wake up to an email advising profile had been banned for breaking one or many of their rules.

Loved it for years until I got banned for no reason at all. No information given on why and no appeal accepted. Hinge was an integral part of my dating life. Competitors just don't hit the same

What makes this site a 1* is the lack of control the user has on searching profiles.
All other sites allow the user to search either just local or everywhere.
This site will only provide maybe 20 profiles. After that you have to wait for 12 hrs before this refreshes and maybe will provide several more.MAYBE!!
You CANNOT revisit a profile once you tape the X for no.
The only way to keep searching is to change the city where you actually reside. But then you still only get a few profiles to review and then have to wait another 12 hrs until you are ALLOWED to view profiles.
You DON’T have the option to view an entire page and select a picture that piques your interest.
They also don’t have a search option for body type or interests.
They only provide you profiles that HINGE thinks will interest you.

SCAM! DO NOT USE THIS APP! THey dont even deserve a 1 star. You Need to pay for a membership to see likes and messages. you match with people and nobody messages. I canceled within LESS than 2 hours and Google Play would NOT refund me and told me to reach out to the company. in which they would NOT REFUND me either. DONT FALL FOR THIS.

They Ban Me for no reason under 24 hours of signing up. I just signed up yesterday everything was fine until after 6 hours I got banned for no reason wasn’t even messaging anyone this is the worst dating site ever I’m glad i didn’t pay for premium.

Absolutely shocking. Bitter and malicious people on there who report your account and you get a lifetime ban! No matter what reason you give fir your appeal against the ban you will never be able to use it again. My ex saw my profile and is so manipulative and controlling she had me banned for Absolutely nothing. Don't waste your time and definitely don't pay for any if their services. They are owned by the same company who own match too so you'll get banned on both. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This is the worst app I have ever used, when you appeal a ban they don't even tell you why you got banned in the first place, you also get permanently banned instead or a short time ban.

Hinge is an inferior primitive platform that is dishonest in its subscription to customer efficaciousness. It repeat presents rejected profiles and then arbitarily removes profiles mid contract with no stated cause which is illegal and fraudulent. Disgraceful Dating Side. Avoid at all costs.
