I recently completed the Har Ki Dun Trek with Himalaya Shelter, and honestly. From the very beginning, their team was super supportive, well-organized, and genuinely caring. Our trek leader Sonu was knowledgeable and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Meals and accomodations were excellent. Big high-five to Himalaya Shelter Guest House in Sankri.
I would highly recommend Himalaya Shelter to anyone planning Har Ki Dun or any other Himalayan treks. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced trekker, they make the whole experience memorable, safe, and truly enjoyable. Planning my next trek to Buran Ghati again with Himalaya Shelter. Kudos

Our group consisted of 5 trekkers all senior citizens above 70 years of age. We did Bramhtal Trek on 14th March 2026 to 22nd March 2026 Rishikesh to Rishikesh via Lohajung.

Mr. Bachan Rana of Himalayan shelter arranged our customized trek. Trek leader Mr. Nitin Trek Guide Mr. Chandramohan cook Mr. Vijay and driver/assistant Mr. Ravi. Food, camp management and service throughout was excellent. Tents, camp chairs toilet tents sleeping bags and dinning tent were in good condition esp. Camp at tilandi was on snow and we had no difficulty neither any inconvenience. Preparation and choice of food was very good. Entire staff was very punctual through. Selection of Home stay at Rishikesh and Lohajung was good.

All in all we all were very happy with Himalayan shelter.

Himalaya shelter was great. I booked nag Tibba as a solo woman, I felt very safe the whole time. The trip included pick up, lunch, a place to put extra belongings. Our hike up the mountain to base camp was about 2ish hours. I would recommend to bring a book. There’s also clean bathrooms and tent is offered with plenty of blankets. The tent was kinda on a downslope and I didn’t sleep great but that’s okay. We started hiking at 4am and we reached summit at sunrise 6:45ish. Then we went to a beautiful temple and the walk down was a breeze. Definitely bring trekking poles. Nitin was an incredible guide and our driver was great too. I would recommend taking anti-nausea medication for the car ride. The curves are crazy. Would book again. Amazing adventure!

This was the best trek ever!!! Bachan rana and Ramesh sajwan made this experience possible. Bachan had great communication throughout planning this trek. He made great accommodations for my group. The views were incredible and the food was delicious. I felt very safe and comfortable with my trek leaders. We all had a great time and are so sad to leave. 5 stars!

Cutting one star because the room which they provide started leaking water from the wooden ceiling and our bed got wed in extreme winter.

Except this the whole experience was too good. The staff, Guide and food were good and helpful.

I just completed the Kunjapuri Temple walk with Bachan Rana and it was incredible! I'm a solo female traveller so safety is super important and I chose well. Everything about the trek was exactly as described and Bachan offered support whenever I needed it. The views, clean air and wildlife is incredible. Definitely worth getting up early to see the sunset being at the temple at that early light is an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend

We, a group of 6 people, did Ancha top on x-mas and it was a great experience. Though there was no snow which was unexpected but mercury dropped to -10C in night and mountain hardwear tents saved us in these harsh winters.
Overall a memorable trekking experience.

Our Kedarnath–Badrinath trip with Himalaya Shelter turned stressful when we were connected, through their staff member Mr. Rana Bachhan, to his “younger brother” Mr. Rahul for helicopter bookings. We later discovered that Mr. Rahul is involved in fraudulent activities and his bank account is frozen. Despite this serious issue, Himalaya Shelter has taken no responsibility for the refund or for connecting clients to such a middleman, leaving us deeply disappointed.

We went hiking with the company and it was a great experience. They gave good advice and were very kind. The guide, assistant guide, and chef took very good care of us, especially Mukesh and Hursz. We are backpackers and very impressed.
