Anish and his team organized a memorable and ethereal trip for my mother, my aunt and I in Nepal - from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Dhampus, Sarangkot and Lumbini.

They were patient and helpful in providing special accommodations for my 70 year old mother and 66 year old aunt. As a daughter, nothing fills my heart more than to see them overjoyed.

Anish would check in with me regularly during the trip to ensure that everything is going on well. He would offer flexibility if we need to make any changes or add on new activities.

The guides are knowledgeable, sincere, and warm - especially Raj Bahadur Rai who taught me the secrets of the Himalay.

I was introduced to the Nepalese travel agency Himalayan Circuit by the Travel Local website, who put travellers in touch with a trusted local agent in the area you want to visit.

I submitted an outline of the length of my solo trip to Nepal (just 10 days), the areas I wanted to visit, the activities I was hoping to engage in and my budget. I was introduced to Anish at Himalayan Circuit who then tailored my itinerary, accommodation and excursions according to my requirements. Anish was able to adjust the arrangements according to my feedback via email until we arrived at a package that I was happy with.

From the moment I arrived, the Himalayan Circuit team took great care of me. Their representatives met me at the airport, and guided me through all stages of my trip. They booked all of my accommodation and arranged all my transfers via taxi and bus to the different parts of Nepal that I wanted to visit. The team were there to help at every stage, which made my solo trip completely stress free. Their local knowledge was invaluable and I was always able to ask for advice via WhatsApp if I needed it.

They arranged some mini treks in the Annapurna region and provided a guide Sagar and a porter to accompany me. Sagar spoke perfect English and he was able to give me some great insights into the Nepalese people, history and culture as well as guiding me on the treks.

Anish invited me to visit the Himalayan Circuit offices where I got to meet the whole team and was presented with some local souvenirs.

The final highlight of my trip was a tandem paragliding flight down from the mountains to the lakeside at Pokhara, all arranged by my friends at Himalayan Circuit.

All in all I had a wonderful adventure in Nepal and I would without hesitation recommend Himalayan Circuit to anyone planning to visit this beautiful country.

while doing my research for my trip to nepal i came across himalayan circuit i filled out a brief form,right away i got a call from anish and he asked me what i wanted to do i said explore kathmandu and see Mt everest and he set out to put together a trip ive been wanting to do for years,he paired me up with a guide to see the city of kathmandu which was a history lesson in itself,the following day i was off to lukla airport to begin the 2nd part of my journey to see Mt everest,talik & debendrak were my guide and porter,i couldnt have done it with out those 2 guys they were amazing,they kept an eye on me the whole way and they were very informative,the best part of the trip was on the day of my birthday they had a suprise birthday gathering for me and i got to see Mt everest,i could'nt have asked for a better birthday,thanks to anish and his team for a great and memorable trip,i would highly recommend himalayan circiut for your trip to nepal

I found Anish and Himalayan Circuit through and international group called Travel Local. I did a great deal of research before picking Anish and his team. And the research was well worth it. He/they were AWESOME at every stage. Pre trek planning Anish was constantly available texting, email and talking over what’s app. I needed to do a great deal of preparation ahead of time because I am 66 years old with diabetes. He answered my million questions with a great patience, understanding and encouragement.
For the trek we had the absolute best guide and two porters. The second porter was arranged at the last minute, seamlessly by our guide, when it was clear that I packed a lot of stuff )2 duffles worth) due to diabetes supplies. The porters were carrying a very heavy load constantly with smile and eager to help every minute. In fact I had difficult carrying my own day pack and they did that for me in addition. They did absolutely everything to ensure my success (and my son, although he was in better shape then me) getting to EBC with my son.
Post trek they were also awesome. Our guide got us a helicopter a day early, because we decided to pump out 9 miles the last day instead of sleeping Gorak Shep. At the end of the helicopter ride, even though our guide could not fly with us, he made sure all was arranged in Lukla at the receiving end. Tilak, our guide, and Gopel our Porter, were always looking out for our comfort, safety and success.
Anish also arranged a safari for us in Chitwan which we did after EBC Trek. That was also awesome. And every pick up, transfer, logistical issue came off without a hit hitch and totally smooth.

Good trekking experience

My first experience with this wonderful team was in 2025 when I have visited Nepal for the first time. Since then I was back with the support of Anish and his brilliant colleagues in December 2015 / January 2016 and April 2017. I spent almost 3 months in Nepal and, it must be said, i felt in love with this wonderful country, therefore I’m probably not the most objective guy.
Anyway I had the lucky chance to meet Anish, Shiva and some other members of Himalayan Circuit’s staff. They arranged for me all the activities I made during that time (Pokhara, Terai, Annapurna’s trekking, a lot of different accommodations and several transports…), what should I say, the service they offered is hard to compare with any other, it goes beyond excellence. It’s like next level of a Taylor made service, it exceeded, by far, all my expectations.

I had a wonderful time with Himalayan Circuit. Staying in a homestay allowed me to explore diverse cultural heritages, dance with the host family, and even cook for them. It was truly the best experiential tour I’ve had. The warmth, authenticity, and connection with the local culture made it unforgettable. I’ll definitely visit again and immerse myself even deeper in the experience.

They customized a plan for us based on our limited time. We spent a lot of t time on the phone discussing our Fitness level (for our age), and the team designed a route that was strenuously rewarding! Also they combined very personal service with historical education, as we had discussed on our pre-trip meetings. No other quests we met with using different tour companies on our amazing journey spoke of equal satisfaction of guide pairing as we had.
