So this company is a Hike Footwear knock off, thought I had the website for Hike Footwear, but had mistakenly got Hike Balance, the website looks the same exactly. It wasn't until my bank notified with a fraud alert. I won't know until I either don't get the shoes or whether they are inferior for a couple weeks. Just a heads up! This is not Hike Footwear.

Placed order 10.20.2025. Was told there was delay in processing order. After numerous emails with customer service to cancel order and requesting refund, I was told refund was 'in line for processing". Then on 12.11.2025 received email stating shoes were being shipped (still no shoes). Remember, I canceled order and asked for refund. As of today, 12.24.2025, still no shoes or refund. I've given up. SHAM COMPANY.

I was so excited to get these shoes. However things changed. I was sent the wrong size - twice. I was told to send pictures of both pair of shoes proving they are the wrong size and they’ve not been worn. I was then told I’d have to pay to have them shipped back along with a restocking fee. I asked why I have to pay for returns of the wrong size shoes. They also denied sending me the correct size citing the excuse “we’ve already sent you two free pair”, again the wrong size.
The customer service replies are automated, the hike balance team “understands my frustration”. Well they don’t. I’ve paid for shoes that I have never received. Do not fall prey to this company. I’m stuck with two pair of the wrong size shoes and cannot get a refund.
I should have paid attention to the phrase - if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

I ordered a pair of shoes and they never arrived and Hike Balance said they have no information on my order. Even though, I have all of my emails for the order and Hike Balance received payment.

Sizing incorrect so were a bit small. Very hard, harsh material. Extremely uncomfortable, even with socks. They smell horrendous! Currently trying to get refund but they are fobbing me off with offers of 50% discount on another pair, then 15% discount. Then they ghost you, trying to wait till you either give up or the 30 day return policy expires. They also said there'd be restocking fees when the policy clearly says no restocking fees.

I mistakenly ordered from Hike Balance thinking they were Hike Footwear, where i have had no problem with their products. After 4 weeks the winter shoes arrived too small for any Mens size 13 shoe. I requested an RMA and they suggested I buy another pair for 50% off and to give the current pair away. No refund, no RMA.

The shoes were too small so I would like to exchange for a larger size. I was told I'd have to pay the return shipping but it's very expensive so suggested donate them. Then he said they'd give me 50% off a new pair. WTF. So they expect me to be out the original purchase price and still pay for a new pair. That would mean I pay 150% for a pair of shoes and if those don't fit, I have negative 150% and no shoes. That's terrible customer service. And when your competition is Amazon where it's so easy to return stuff why would you interact with this company at all. I should have stuck with amazon. I'll donate the shoes and learn a lesson. Will never deal with these people again and will steer other people away as well.

Send you items that don't fit and REFUSE to take them back or exchange.
AVOID AND REPORT when they screw you over too.

Absolutely love these shoes......I have diabetes and I get severe pain in my soles to the point 3 hrs at work I would sit down and then stand up to sore feet to the point I didn't want to walk..... I have tried other shoes other insoles and nothing helped..... I thought oh what's to loss in buying them ....but omg I have worn them for 3 days now at work running around after kids and my feet have not been sore once everyday they are better and better

The shoes I ordered were too small. the size was not good and I wanted to exchange or better yet, return them. HikeBalance readily agreed to a return as long as I pay the shipping, which I agreed. The hitch: the return address was in CHINA and It would cost me $66 to return the shoes. A SCAM!!

I should of trusted my gut. I was looking for water resistant walking shoe that would be good for golf. For that it needed to be flexible, have good grip, lightweight and comfortable. The shoe got 2 of the four. They are lightweight and the grip is good but miss the boat on flexibility and comfort. After walking 3 miles, every nerve of body was on fire. The shoes are very inflexible and don't allow my feet to move hence being uncomfortable. Additionally, the companies return policies are terrible. I paid more for the return for sizing issues then the price of the shoe.

I bought a pair for my husband and they were too small so I contacted there customer service about an exchange for a bigger size and they told me no problem they just wanted me to take pictures of the shoes to make sure they were in good condition and so we did and sent the pictures to them by email and they said that they looked like they were in good condition and so they told us to mail them back to them at the address that their customer service gave me and send a picture of it with the tracking number and we mailed it to them and we had it done priority mail where they had to give a signature when they got it and so we tracked it and they did receive and it was signed for and I have sent several emails - like ( 8 emails ) a and now can not get any response from them at all - and I'm sorry but this REALLY pisses me off !!!!! - I don't like wasting good money and ending up getting SCREWED !!!! thank you,, Syndee Weese

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. SCAM.
The shoes DO NOT have a wide toe box. They DO NOT honour their return policy. They DO NOT have a good communication team for returns or refunds. I paid a hefty return postage months ago and now have stopped receiving emails in response to my requests and complaints. I rate ZERO stars. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this poor quality product that does not present as suggested in their advertising.

I went through chemotherapy about nine years ago. I’m glad I’m still here after aggressive treatment. Sadly, I experienced nerve damage to my feet. Neuropathy! I still walk a lot but I’ve had to give up running. Walking is so different though. I’ve searched for a shoe that allows me to walk comfortably and with some sense of balance. Hokas are nice, but are so expensive. I bought a pair of HikeBalance shoes on a whim! I’m so happy I did! They are super comfy and give me the stability I need with my numb feet. They are light weight too! I plan to wear them on my next hiking trip! I highly recommend them!

Return policy is not followed. Shoe size is not accurate. Was told there is a $20 charge to return item and they will only exchange. I’ll give the shoes away before paying to ship them back and be charged a fee.

These shoes are poorly made, inferior shoes to the true company, Hike Footwear. Don't be fooled. And do not buy them. They will not allow returns but instead give you a 30% refund and tell you to donate the shoes to charity.

Total scam. Shoes are made of cheap material. Went to return them and gave me an address in China not Delaware like it says on their website.

This company is a scam! Try calling the customer support number on their ads. The number is disconnected. I made the mistake of not checking the reviews before ordering and now they ghosted me and won’t return or refund their product. I’ve written many emails to no avail. I have filed a dispute with PayPal to get my money back. This is a horrible product designed to look like Salomon’s. It’s a fake company and a crappy product. Avoid them like toxic waste!!!

A scam you cannot return you cannot talk to them. They want more money to return than the actual order was I have half a dozen emails telling me I’m getting a refund but this has been going on for months. I believe the emails are just bots and not even real people.
