Brilliant company

One of the best retailers I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Highly efficient and friendly service and correspondence. Very highly recommended.

Very Good Experience

Bought an amplifier over the phone during lockdown. Albeit the amp was new and to order, I was given a discount (and it wasn’t a super high end amp, it was under £1k) and was later updated as to the when it would arrive from the factory and be delivered to me. It arrived when he said it would. Couldn’t be better really. Very pleasant people and I heartily recommend.

The best in high end Hi-Fi

This really is the man to go to. I have been over several times and his knowledge is outstanding. I am 70 years old and high end hifi has always been my thing and thought I was aware of most things but Paul opened my eyes on different products to fit into my exsisting system and was absolutely right. He is always welcoming and if you need a demo then he will fit you in. The demo rooms etc are a hi-fi enthusiast dream. Highly recommended and trusted. Thank you Paul.

This is an AV enthusiasts dream.

This is an AV enthusiasts dream.
Paul makes you feel very welcomed and relaxed. There are no pressure sales here as he believes in letting the customer listen/view at their own pace, take in the quality of audio and visual high end quality products that are available. I purchased a Sony projector and screen and extremely happy with the time Paul gave me to try out multiple movies to test the quality of the projector. Got a couple of friends to make future purchases as well and they are both extremely happy. This is the place to go to for the highest products available on the market. Support UK specialists like hi-fi lounge, there is nothing else like it.

ENTHUSIAST'S DREAM VENUE FOR AUDITIONING OUTSTANDING HI-FI

A blissful escape from the usual mundane, run-of-the-mill, retail experience ― Wendy and Paul have created the perfect environment, far removed from the usual hustle and bustle of life, so serious Hi-fi enthusiasts can get lost in their own musical dream as they audition some of the world’s finest hi-fi components.

The atmosphere is never rushed or pressured; rather more, you are left sample different components at leisure for however long you wish. Yet, service remains impeccable as Wendy or Paul remain close by, ready to assist you or answer any technical questions you may have regarding their wonderful array of components.

So, if you are passionate about hi-fi and have a deep appreciation for music being played as the closest experience to a live audition, then I could not recommend Hi-Fi Lounge enough.

Regardless of outcome, you will leave feeling deeply invigorated, and should you have the good fortune to afford one of their components, with a deep sense of delight you will feel you have made the most considered, unrushed purchase, with the assurance your choice was the finest for your own individual taste and style.

Great service.

I have been thinking about upgrading my Grado 325I for a little while, after reading countless tests and reviews I decided to listen to the Grado PS1000e. Having looked as much as I can to demo these cans I found HIFI Lounge had them with the headphone amp I wanted to try. Walking into the HIFI Lounge being met by Wendy and Paul in a very relaxed atmosphere, led into the listening room and possibly 60 foot wall covered in top end headphones and amps.
Nothing was too much trouble trying different amps without any hurry. I decided on the PS1000e and the Naim headline amp as I already had a flatcap power supply. Places like the HIFI Lounge are getting very rare, to walk in somewhere and try out headphones from a couple of hundred quid to thousands of pounds and amps in the same category is a must when spending a lot of money on hi fi. this place has it all, top quality kit and lovely people running it, no wonder its doing so well.

IF YOU LIKE QUALITY HI-FI THEN START HERE!

I first met Paul Clark at HiFi Lounge by chance. I was interested in auditioning a certain pair of headphones and I was put in touch with Paul who had them on demo.

As I only live 30 miles away I made an appointment to meet Paul. After originally getting lost I arrived at his superb premises which are situated in a granary building on a farm! And what a building! Four demo rooms full up with fantastic kit!

The Headphone Room is something else! A row of 15+ pairs of headphones on a shelf in a lovely room with a large comfy leather chair! And just in case you didn't take your own music, a Naim Streamer was on hand together with amps by Bryston and Heed.

What I really liked about Paul the first time I met him is that he is a really genuine person. There was no rush, no 'sales pressure' but good advice.

The headphones I went to listen to were superb but very, very heavy and uncomfortable. I took my MacBook with my iTunes library with me together with external headphone amps/DACs being a CEntrance DACPort & an Audioquest Dragonfly.

I then arranged to come back the next day and also took my wife along! Paul was again very accommodating and not at all pushy. His tea is also very good indeed!

I was still finding the headphones I liked to be very uncomfortable, but although Paul had suggested that I listened also to the HiFiMan HE-500s , when I did I couldn't hear what all the fuss was about. Then Paul suggested that I listened through a Heed Canamp. All of a sudden the HE-500s came alive! I had read that another pair of headphones I had at home sounded great through the Heed Canamp and I arranged with Paul to come back yet again with my AKGs.

Paul then suggested that I waited a week and listened through the Heed Canamp together with the Heed Dactilus 3 + separate power supply unit. Already I was over my original budget but I agreed to come back when the PSU demo unit had arrived.

The Headphone Room had by now been re-named David's Room! I went back and listened to my original choice and then the HE-500s (plus a few others!) through the Heed Canamp and Dactilus 3. The HE-500s were still a bit 'lifeless'. Then I connected the separate power supply unit (PSU) to the Dactilus 3. Wow!! I was literally blown away. So much in fact that I'm writing this review at home with a pair of HE-500s on my head plugged into a Heed Canamp which is linked to a Heed Dactilus 3 + PSU. What did it all cost? Don't ask - I just know it was well over my budget but was worth it.

Incidentally, the Heed Canamp was out of stock and Paul kindly lent me his so I could start listening as soon as possible, which was a really nice touch. I told Paul that a USB cable I had at home improved the sound quality and he asked if I would bring it along when I collected my Canamp. I thought he was going to listen to it through headphones. Instead, he took me into a room where we listened via a pair of speakers costing £16,100 and two monoblock amps costing £10,000 each!!

And, you know what? We both agreed that a £60 USB cable improved the sound quality of a £30,000 system!

I cannot recommend HiFi Lounge highly enough. I have dealt with some good hi-fi dealers over many years and whilst most have been very good there is something special about Paul at HiFi Lounge. But don't just take my word for it - give Paul a call and pay him a visit. But don't forget your wallet!!
