I have been using hide.me for several years now (after trying several other vpns. I am extremely impressed with hide.me as I get constant speeds and no dropping out at all. I download a lot of movies and this vpn allows me to access torrent sites which would normally be blocked by my Internet supplier.
You can get cheaper vpns but all I'll say is that you get what you pay for. Very fast speeds. Brilliant vpn. 5/5.

Messed up my whole network on my ubuntu desktop. Even after stopping through the cli my internet wouldnt work. had to find and kill running processes, and then remove script running on startup, and then manually delete its folder. Really intrusive, never again.

Both of my Macbook Pros experience Hideme VPN dropping off continuously. I have made the permissions changes suggested but after a short while the drop offs continue.
These have been occuring since fall of 2024 until today, 2/23/25

Long time subscriber finding more and more recently that this is failing on the number of items that you used to be flawless. Reached out to support and was told that because I didn't cancel within 30 days I get none of my two years back. How that F was I supposed to know 10 months ago that your servers would start being blocked around the world. Support ticket stated I'm ineligible. Unacceptable support and crap service from something that I used to recommend as an IT support professional to people on a somewhat daily basis. Look for something else such as nordvpn as that worked for me.

i downloaded this app few months ago & all the stuff is working fine , but from since last month my pc have these errors

1. When i close the vpn , it's still running in my background.
2.Also , my DNS address was changed several times.
3. my pc got lagging.

BAD VPN Programm..
It does not work properly on windows with the newest updates installed .
There are a few bugs, for example you get disconnected after restarting yout pc,
your whole settings get deleted !
Not recommandful for users using auto connect.
Not a safe vpn
You can't autpconnect your Smartphone to the vpn without always having GPS active.
A cheap VPN you get what you pay for I guess ;-)

It's a super stable service, I never experienced any issues in all the seven years. You can trust this provider in any sense!

Since the latest version, I always have to set the program up completely new, all settings / account settings are gone.
