This is a long one, as the service and support we received from Hi Bolivia Travel was outstanding.
From the moment we were picked up on the border between Bolivia and Chile we were cared for in the most outstanding way. We were met by Leroy and Hugo at Hito Cajon and proceeded to cross the Andes in a comfortable Land Cruiser, it needed to be as the roads are a little rustic. A refreshing lunch was taken by the thermal pools with time to take some pictures if desired. Onward then to Uyuni where they dropped us off at our hotel overlooking the Salt Flats. The following day Hugo and Leroy collected us for a quite remarkable day on the Salt Flats. What an experience! Lunch was provided some 80km from where we stated, yes they are that massive. before travelling to an are still covered in water from the rainy season. The reflections were out of this world, with mountains, clouds and ourselves all reflected in the mirror like surface. A sundowner topped it off perfectly.
The following day Hugo picked us up and took us to the airport where we checked in for our flight. Unfortunately it was seriously delayed. We contacted Veronica at Hi Bolivia Travel to see if there were any options available as a 13 hour delay was going to be an unfortunate hiccup in our journey to La Paz. Before we knew it Veronica had arranged a car to take us to La Paz, saving hours of delay despite a long drive at not additional cost to ourselves. Not only had Veronica moved heaven and earth to speed us on our way, she contacted our hotel in La Paz and arranged for a late supper to be available as we would arrive after the restaurant had closed.
The following day our guide and river Victor and Joao, took us to Lake Titicaca for another memorable day, lunch on a island, another wonderful experience. Having arrived late in La Paz we had missed our planned tour of the city, yet again Veronica excelled and arranged to us to be taken round by Victor and Joao before we were dropped off at the airport. I'm not sure when Veronica sleeps but the service which she and Hi Bolivia Travel gave us is something one can only dream about, quite simply nothing was too much trouble. Thank you everyone for making our time in Bolivia such a fabulous experience.

Put together a tour package for us with many moving parts, most of which worked perfectly. But what marked this company out is what they did when things went a little awry, happens when airlines cancel flights at the last minute. They were immediately responsive and working to resolve the situation, which they always succeeded in doing. They always had our back - with courtesy and good humour. I could not recommend more highly. Thank you to Veronica and the team.

I did a solo, bespoke photography tour from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni with Hi Bolivia! in February 2025, which I booked through an agent in North America. In the week before the trip, it had to be completely revised due to flooding on the Salar, which meant we couldn't access the northern areas or Incahuasi Island. My travel agent put me in touch directly with Veronica at Hi Bolivia in La Paz, who went way above and beyond to craft a new itinerary and to continue to tweak it as the flooding situation evolved. Meanwhile, I was with my guide and driver, who were both excellent: diligent, insightful and good company, and open to adapting to changing circumstances.
In the end, we made a dash for Incahuasi, not knowing if we'd make it, but we did, and had the island to ourselves for the afternoon, which was really special! I'd highly recommend Hi Bolivia! Travel & Tours: the vehicle was in great condition, the driver and guide were fantastic, and Veronica and her team were delightful to work with and extremely professional.

We are a couple of French people and once again we want to thank warmly the Bolivian Travel Agency « Hi Bolivia! » for the fabulous private tours they organized for us. Veronica, was great, she choose not only the best hotels but also the best rooms.
The guides speaking English or French or Spanish were nice and very competent!
Veronica was in touch with us everyday through WhatsApp & we never felt lost. We do recommend Hi Bolivia! for their competences, efficiency & some good surprises they offered us.

Our tour with Hi Bolivia was fantastic. All of the local guides and drivers were just so helpful, punctual and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. We can highly recommend Bolivia as a destination and Hi Bolivia as a great company to organise every detail.

From our arrival in Bolivia until departure, HI Bolivia, did an excellent job with tours, transport, and lodging. Veronica coordinated all aspects of our tour seamlessly. The scheduled lodgings were excellent, clean, accommodating, and with good breakfasts. In each city, we had knowledgeable, friendly guides providing cultural expertise. We were able to enjoy all aspects of our visit stress free. I recommend HI Bolivia to anyone considering a visit and would not hesitate to use them again in the future

The "Hi Bolivia" team was incredibly responsive and well organized, they were able to arrange a private trip from La Paz to La Isla del Sol (Van, boat and meals) with very short notice. The coordinator and the drivers were very professional and kind.

Cable car tour La Paz.
The trip with the four cable car lines in La Paz (April 23, 2017) offered a very good overview over the city. We enjoyed the Spanish tour with an excellent guide (Prof. Galoppo).

It was a wonderful experience for us. It was a dream place, the food was delicious and attention and friendliness of Bolivian pleople did that We fell in love with Bolivia.

I traveled with HiBolivia and want to share my experience with all those, who intend to visit these wonderful part of the world. I was traveling with my mom and a friend to La Paz, in occasion of a congress, and we wanted to visit the Uyuni Salt flats the days before. So I got in contact with Beatriz, which was really helpful, answered via mail to all my questions and doubts on Bolivia and organised perfectly every detail of our trip (with detail, I mean that for example she thought also about transferring us with a taxi from the bus station to our hostel when we arrived at 5 a.m. etc., not that we had no freedom of choice what to do). In the salt flats we were extremely lucky to have a guide on our own, and they agreed to let us do a special tour, so everything was just amazing. Our guide explained us everything we wanted to know about the places we passed through and we spent a night under Tunupa volcano in a basic but very clean and cosy structure. Meals were all included and tasty, also on the night bus from/to La Paz. So our experience was very positive, and we recommend relying on HiBolivia, if you get to their country, and are in need of some help and adviceice.
