If you’re a student I definitely advise…

If you’re a student I definitely advise against Heyme. I was going to France with a student visa, but during my stay my student visa appeal got rejected and I was forced to leave the country or face a ban. So I applied for a refund because I got insurance for the whole year and only lived there for 88 days (never used any of the benefits), so if you are unsure about your student visa status do not use this company as they only give refunds if you’re denied entry at the beginning of your visit, they give no refunds if you get kicked out of the country due to visa issues. On the brightside, the process for getting the insurance is quick and efficient.

After carefully reviewing your file, we’d like to clarify that according to the general terms and conditions of the contract, once the insurance coverage has taken effect and the insured person has entered French territory, the contract cannot be canceled. As your coverage had already started, we are unfortunately unable to process a refund.

Totally satisfied

Totally satisfied! Mohammed was really helpful and patient. He explained all the information clearly and guided me through the whole process of registering and purchasing the insurance. He even spoke to me in Spanish and that was amazing.

Total SCAM.... (they improved)

Total SCAM....
I paid for the snow pack insurance before I went skiing. Then while skiing I got injured, had a surgery and now I'm waiting over a month so they can pay the medical bill. All the time when I text them about the status of my reimbursement, they just respond as “I forwarded the request to claim department” but I doubt that since they have already done that 4 times and still no results.
Overall NEVER get an insurance from HeyMe

Edited: thanks to them because after I have been contacted by Ihsaan everything progressed pretty quickly and I finally got my first reimbursement.

Excellent and Understanding Customer Service

I had an issue with a reimbursement and needed to discuss it with Heyme’s customer service over the phone. They were great — very understanding about the complications I faced in getting some documents, and once everything was clarified, they handled the process quickly and efficiently. From that point onwards, the issue was resolved fast, and I received my reimbursement without any trouble. After this experience, I would 100% recommend Heyme!

Not a nice experience

It's so sad to land in their platform and put my country, Iran, as the country of origin and get the response that they don't cover citizens of this country. Isn't it the responsibility of the insurance companies to insure the individuals?
