be careful with this auction house!! I won a lot in an online auction, I was the highest bidder, but they did not want to ship and deliver the goods, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE

So unhelpful. Tried to pay using three of their accounts but our bank declined to make them. The only time this has happened. So we're left unable to cancel the transaction and having to pay by Paypal for a higher fee! Customer services were very unhelpful.

Henry's auctions have just put out a catalogue of collector's watches. It is unclear if there are one or two IWC 3805 men's watches so I asked them to clarify this and also to give me the dimensions of the steel bracelets. These look as if all moveable links are missing which is an expensive mistake because they can cost $200 each if they ever turn up, and in the meantime the watches can only be worn by ladies. I received an arrogant email from one of their people who told me to look in the catalogue description. I don't need that sort of attitude and I have told them to take my name off their mailing list.

I had a problem caused by the auction house bank, who demanded extra information and a copy of the invoice before releasing the funds. My money transfer service in the UK (Moneycorp) were slow in sending back the required information and updating me on their progress. The auction house staff are not to blame for the bean counters in their bank. They were far more helpful in getting things moving and keeping me informed. The goods were in the mail the same day that the money eventually arrived in their account. The goods were as described by the auction house, packed to a very high standard and reached me in only 3 working days.
