I cannot say enough good things about Sheilagh and her program! She helped my son so much with his handwriting, and troubleshooting what was going wrong and the barriers that were in place preventing him from having good handwriting. We saw SUCH a dramatic improvement over a couple of months. His handwriting went from unreadable to nice. Sheilagh was so compassionate and patient while still being very effective in getting him to do his work. Highest recommendation!

My 10years old son had been attending the 45mins classes with Sheilagh in the past few months.

Being an active child who doesn’t like to sit still for more than 15mins, initially I was unsure if my son could pay attention throughout the online class. Turned out that Sheilagh’s classes were engaging and super fun- while dishing out the games, Sheilagh was effective in diagnosing the root cause of the problem with his handwriting and providing guidance to address these challenges. Sheilagh provided me with feedback at the end of each class, so I was also given advice on how to help our son.

My son is now more mindful about what to pay attention to in his writing, and with more practice, I am sure his handwriting skill will be further improved. All in all, I highly recommend Help with Handwriting!

Sheilagh has taken an interesting approach to teaching my son handwriting, and he truly enjoys attending her lessons. With her extensive experience, Sheilagh was able to identify the issues contributing to his poor handwriting from the very first session. I found Help with Handwriting when looking for help for my 8 year old son and his poor handwriting. From the get go Sheilagh made the sessions fun and made the time to get to know my son. He loved the sessions, which is amazing as he hated writing, he especially liked that he had control over the games they played! Sheilagh wass very clever in how she gave advise, tips and tricks and made sure that she gave plenty of praise which worked so well for my son. We saw a huge improvement in my son's writing style after the 6 sessions and I believe he has made adjustments that will stick for life. I cannot thank Sheilagh enough and will be recommending her far and wide!
