We had a few bumps at the beginning with a couple of cleaners, but Hassle were very quick to react - the customer service is good.

I dont like giving bad reviews but this one was necessary. Firstly, the cleaner used her own cleaning cloths despite me showing her the new packs I did buy for her to clean my flat. The cleaner did not clean properly and charged me 2.5 hours and an additional invoice without reason that Helpling allowed the cleaner to charge me. The most expensive cleaner I ever had! The cleaner told me after 2 hours that there was nothing else to do there. She sent me the second invoice without my permission and took my money without permission. I contacted Helpling they refunded only £17.32. The cleaner did cost me ££61.22 for 2 hours which I had to sanitise the whole flat after she left + £28.28 second invoice I have no idea the reason for that! Very disappointed!! I have medical condition asthma and other issues and I had to sanitise my entire flat after she left!

Unfortunately the cleaner they selected for me didn't turn up, answer her phone or respond to my friendly text. (that she was ok)
I paid up front and haven't been refunded yet.

Helpling makes it really easy to find people to do various tasks for you. For example, I found an insured cleaner within 5 minutes and they did an excellent job.

While the cleaners I’ve worked with through Helpling have been excellent, the app and customer service have been disappointing. I booked recurring cleans but had to cancel future appointments due to a poor match. However, I was charged an additional £70 fee for cancelling recurring appts as an 'one-off fee' despite booking another cleaner through the app. Despite requesting to speak with a manager, the agents I interacted with (Riccardo and Valentina) were dismissive, and I never received the managerial assistance I sought.

I have submitted an early review regarding their deceptive advertising and unauthorized charge. Subsequently, I have had to file a chargeback twice. I have blocked them through my credit card. They have attempted to charge my card a third time under a different merchant name. This company's actions are clearly fraudulent, and it appears that others have had similar experiences. I encourage affected individuals to continue requesting chargebacks and reporting the issue to Citizens Advice. Their actions are illegal, and if they believe they are in the right, they should take legal action against us.
Edit: after helpling's reply, they did try to take a payment for the 3rd time none the less. They didn't refute that. I'm getting a new card. So good luck with your fourth and 100th attempt.

Bit of a scam, charged me extra money after the appointment without permission. Customer service were rude and I had to challenge with credit card company instead. They faked a different invoice afterwards

Great tool for last minute clean. You have the security of the app and can find really good cleaners!

We've had a pleasant experience with Helping's cleaning service. They are very comfortable to work with, allowing us to easily reschedule appointments, choose new cleaners, and leave reviews. The chat feature makes it convenient to communicate with the cleaners, and they always send reminders about upcoming cleanings. The cleaning staff are hardworking and polite, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!

I have worked from Helpling for three years, and I have always fulfilled all the cleaning demands that were requested. On Sunday, May 19th, I went for a 5-hour cleaning. I waited for the payment deadline and it was not made, so I contacted Helpling to find out where the money was. they claimed that the client had not made the payment and asked if I had contacted the client but Helpling is responsible for booking the cleaning and collecting the amount and paying the cleaner and because of that they could not pay me as they were not responsible due to non-payment by customers. But was this a website error because they didn't check the customer's card before cleaning? so I wasted my time and my money on transportation to customers house, I paid to work for free for customer and Helpling. This is a lack of respect towards the cleaner as it was Helpling's mistake

Ridiculous booking service - all there is a name and absolutely nothing about the person!

The first cleaner I had wasn't up to scratch, so they sent over my current cleaner, who is a proper professional. She's always on time, very friendly and extremely thorough. She cleans for the whole allotted time and my house always looks sparkling afterwards
