Scammers adding additional fees

Joke of a company I purchased insurance and didn’t have any issue for over 2 weeks but then all of a sudden what do you know after 14 days when I am now no longer in the “cooling off period” I get an email I have to send my driving summary so I send it no problem them they get back to me my information is “incorrect” as I put I have a full license on compare the market rather then full auto even though they don’t have an option for full auto, secondly my partner has held her license for 10 years not 8 as stated on compare the market, so now they insist I must pay am additional £100, and I have no option to cancel as they conveniently waited till after my cooling off period was over. Scam of a company trying to steal every penny they can from you avoid.

Prima insured me in 2025. Refused in 2026. No incidents

Prima insured me in 2025. I paid £500 to insure GR Yaris. A year
Later with no claim etc. they refused to insure me again giving no reason.

Their loss. I just reinsurer with Aviva at cost of £170 so Prims were ripping me off. I’m glad I did not have to claim.

On 29 April I asked for Proof of No…

On 29 April I asked for Proof of No Claims doc when my car insurence expired. Lady on the chat told me she had email it to me but to this day it has not been received. I had asked if they would post the doc to me and the lady agreed to 'as a special favour'. No post received yet. What the problem they have with my request, I have no idea. Sounds to me that even though I made no claim, they appear unreliable.
Update: This negative review prompted them to provide me with the requested document by post. Therefore, I changed the star to three stars. Really the company should improve their customer services rather than making us beg.

Looked on compare the market and found…

Looked on compare the market and found Prima insurance which gave me better cover than I had with my current insurer and at a better quote than my renewal.Went through the process online and was easy to navigate and pay

Well run company with excellent Service

in a nutshell, there is nothing I can add to all the other remarks made by people who have dealt with them. I had no problems at all and the deal went through without any problems, and will recommend to my family & friends. I saved £230 against my quote from my present insurer, so it must be good. thanks PJN Waltham Grimsby.
