Salesman signed me up unknowingly!
We have had Hellofresh several times in the past. Only enjoying when we had a decent discount or if choosing meals started to getting difficult.
So when a door knocker came by discussing some discounts - I gave him some of my time.
He was advertising the new app and ease of deciding meals (it didnt seem much different from web options from years ago). Anyway, he wanted to add the coupon to my account (had me log into0 my phone) and ASSURED me it would not mean it was going to charge me. He showed me the options on MY phone and showed how to choose meals and delay weeks. I asked twice to make sure this didnt mean it would charge me, as we are still sorting out budget and if the discount was worth it.
A few days later. I saw a $150 Hellofresh charge to my account! Even though I had NOT selected a delivery or anything
Scum bags. I had to cancel my entire account to get the refund!
So if I wasn't looking at my bank statements, I assume it would have started sending meals. My fault for trusting someone with my pohone - But thats the type of tactics used on me!

A friend introduced me to Hello Fresh…
A friend introduced me to Hello Fresh when I was holidaying at their place. I enjoyed it so much that I started getting it for myself. Save time wandering around the supermarket not knowing what I realy want to make for dinner. This way the only choice I have to mske after a long day is which meal I am going to have. Good selection of meals, experiencing meal I would not normally make.

We love how easy it is to order online
We love how easy it is to order online, pause our delivery if we need and the timely deliveries that are well packaged. The meals are delicious and with instructions take minimal time to prepare. We love the no wastage, fresh healthy meals and the great variety.. We save money by not going to the supermarket and impulse buying.

Great value
I have been very happy with hello fresh sometimes the meat given can be small , I do add extra sometimes to make it go a bit further. Food is always fresh and always on time

HIT AND MISS
Hello Fresh has been a good option for busy workers but the food quality has been appalling recently. The box often opens and the food is rotten mouldy or missing.

I like the easy

Have been enjoying Hellofresh for 5 months until recently due to lack of communication.
We have been enjoying Hellofresh about 90% of the time. Most meals are nice and we enjoy the variety each week and if items are missing or spoiled they refund small amounts no worries.
But I have taken 2 stars off, one star being for quality of vegetables on a number of occasions such as carrots being soft, spring onions wilted or very small quantities. And the beef and lamb being either very tough or small serves or too much fat on them leaving hardly any meat when trimming fat off. This is why I chose many tofu, halloumi, chicken or salmon dishes instead which have been okay dishes to very nice ones and are pleasantly surprised.
The other star was taken off for communication. I sat at home all day Saturday waiting for a delivery that was estimated between 11am-12pm when I had better things to do due to the transport company or Hellofresh not informing me my box was damaged in transit and had to be returned. Where was the communication here so I did not have to sit around all day and evening because apparently when you select a preference time when signing up it was between 8am-8pm and I rang customer support around 1pm and was told I had to wait until 8pm as this was my original time frame selected and to more or less take no notice of the estimated time frame sent by text that morning… I then chatted to a real person on line around 8.30pm and was told they would notify me as soon as they know something only to go on line Monday morning as see my delivery was put on hold. It took me to notify them again to find out what happened not them notifying me… This to me is not good customer service at all and needs attention. I understand accidents happen but my issue here is the communication as my time is valuable as well and I do not wish to sit around stressing about when my delivery is coming.
In conclusion rectify these issues and I would be very happy to recommend Hellofresh to everyone.

Missing ingredient, we had prawns missing from one of our meals and the entire process of complaint was extremely difficult, even when we finally got through to you we were told we had been given a $16 credit though that never actually appeared
