Health Lighting is a Scam!

I read the 1-star reviews on here but placed an order anyway. I made a mistake. The reviews are right. This company is a scam. After placing an order I contacted customer service asking for the delivery date. They don't answer customer service emails. What replied to us what their pathetic AI software. It said our order would ship in 14 days. From where? China? So 14+30 days for shipping? We still don't even know when we're going to get this expensive order. Find another brand that actually has stock for the stuff they market and uses humans to answer customer service concerns.

I ordered bulbs and could cancel the order immediately

I ordered bulbs and saw that I made a mistake in the order so I immediately contacted them and asked them to cancel the order and not ship them. They said I could not cancel the order but I could return them for a refund minus $18. Why couldn’t they not ship them and simply refund my money rather than go ahead ship them anyway and charge me money? Seems pretty cheesy to me.

Refusal to replace defective bulb

I ordered 4 bulbs for my bathroom vanity. They will only ship 4 and not a single bulb. One of the bulbs is defective. They gave me a refund for 1 bulb. They refused to ship just one. I paid a lot of money for these bulbs and now it looks ridiculous in my bathroom since I have to use 2 different kinds of bulbs!

They are selling items that they don't…

They are selling items that they don't have available. This is not stated on the website. NO clear timeline provided and zero communication. Mind you they are making money with interest on 4-8 week delays in providing fulfilment to purchase while customers are losing money and paying interest on purchases. They have some AI response bot. Totally unethical.

Chromalux bulb expensive and won't last 30 days

I very much appreciated my first order of bulbs that mimicked daylight. It was soo good for my eyes. My eye doctor said my eyes were doing great. It stopped the constant throbbing and my eyes felt normal for the first time in years. I LOVED it for 6 weeks then my $25 bulb burned out! Oh no, bummer. CS was nice--I sent photo of fixture--nothing wrong there. They credited me and I bought 4 additional of a slightly different design. They come in pairs so I put up the second bulb that matched the first that burnt out so fast. This one didn't last a month. I honestly don't appreciate paying so much for a single bulb and having them burn out between 30 to 60 days. They work great on the eyes, but the bulb itself is not worth the money. It would cost me $300 a year to use this brand of bulb. I've lived in this home for 3 years and not a single other bulb (Chromalux) has gone bad. Just the health lighting ones. I love full spectrum but am searching for another manufacturer.

I spent an outrageous amount for 4…

I spent an outrageous amount for 4 lightbulbs for my office. They didn't even last 7 months of M-Th 4 hrs a day use. I spent $86 on 4 bulbs and they won't even respond to my email or website submission two weeks ago. Three of the four bulbs failed within a week of each other. The light was beautiful but too brief for the cost. The service from the company does not exist. Buy at your own risk.

Borderline Scam

I originally found out about this site after it was promoted on a podcast. I love the idea and thought it would be beneficial for my health. A few months after spending over $50 for 2 Chromalux bulbs, one has already burnt out despite light use (about 2- 4 hours per day). Customer service won't stand behind the product, alleging this situation is "rare" but that they won't cover the product past 60 days. They also tried to blame the socket it was used in, or "vibrations" nearby in the house as reasons why it promptly quit working.

For the price I paid, this is unacceptable and feels like a money grab, which of course isn't rare in the modern biohacker and general health space. The people promoting this shoddy brand just feel like grifters. I'm now questioning if these products are anything special at all or if they are just like any other mass produced light bulbs you'd buy at a big box store.
