Lovely product, lousy service.
While I very much like the lightweight scarves and their designs (which are charming) - customer service has been a total bust.
I placed an order on 12/3 with a coupon for free standard shipping but opted to pay for express since I needed it by 12/13 - the website stated express shipping was "2-3 days." After waiting 4 days with no notification that the item shipped, I contacted the company by email.
I was answered by "Mayra S" whose title is "bandana manager." She wrote on Sunday, 12/7 and told me she had checked the order and that it had already been shipped and was expected to arrive in 3 days. I wrote back with thanks.
On 12/10 I received an email from USPS that the package from the shipper had JUST BEEN RECEIVED. Their estimated delivery date is 12/15 - two days later than needed, and 12 days after I paid for express shipping.
I emailed the company again. The response from the "bandana manager" reads like chatbot - I'm truly sorry, I understand you're disappointed, some shipments were unexpectedly delayed by USPS (!), I'm closely monitoring your order, I'm here to help. All smoothing and fluffing, no substance.
Do I really like these scarves? Yes, I do. Will I buy from this company again? No, I won't.
Sometimes a small company gets good buzz, or becomes popular or "viral," and their customer base suddenly grows, overwhelming their capacity. This appears to be what's happened here. If that's so, it's not the company's fault - but DON'T blow smoke up my a**. Own the mistake, refund the shipping (at least), and don't tell me literally nothing as if nothing is exactly what I'd like to hear.
