I have visited Haxey Quays twice now and have to say it is a very special place.
The management of the site is first class and so friendly.
The folks who have their caravans sited there have created such a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The location speaks for itself, absolutely beautiful sitting quietly on the bank as of the river Idle with its wildlife and quiet charm.
Cannot wait to revisit this charming site.

Love love love ❤️ this site is beautiful to be at very well kept clean shower blocks beautiful walks pub over road with great food also local pubs at end of walk along the river. Park for kids further down the site Great wardens Heather and Adrian who go above and beyond to help you also most weekends Big Bingo who Heather and Adrian organise also do kids one . Been coming here alot and intend on staying here as much as we can.

Great clean site we started using this site about 6-7 years ago for weekends ,3 years ago we got a seasonal pitch which we love and bonus it’s open 12 months a year , it’s very well kept 2 new toilet and shower blocks , pet friendly, plenty dog walks along the river side , close to village it has couple take away , chippy and shop also not far to Yorkshire wild life park so great base , heather and Adrian the wardens can’t do enough to help you ,also a little play park for kids , food van on site on weekends through summer , would highly recommend

Came for the first time in September 2023 for a weekend and before we left the site we put our name down for a seasonal pitch.
We love it here,its peaceful,friendly and clean with plenty of amenities on the doorstep and open all year round👌

Great camp and touring site. Fantastic facilities and a friendly welcoming team who can't do enough for you. Fantastic for cycling around the country roads and plenty more to see by car. Pet friendly. Highly recommend a visit.

Great campsite run by great people no problems at all

We absolutely love haxey quays..first started coming on weekends ..enjoyed that much we are now seasonal campers ..our campsite is a beautiful idyllic place..have to mention the team !! .heather & Adrian who runs the site .keeping l everything ship shape they go above & beyond there duties keeping eveyone accommodated ..the site is lovely & clean/ facilities..great park 4 the little ones ..river running through ..fishing kayaks boats etc.. over the road is a great little pub /restaurant..award winning chip shop in the village..what else could you ask for ..5 star 🌟

Haxey quays is the place to be. The site is clean and well kept. There's a park for the children, they have a new toilet/shower block which is brilliant. Heather the warden is just amazing. She works so hard to keep the site going along with her partner he is just as hard working too. She's non stop bless her. If your looking for a place to come and relax this is the place to be. Oh and there's a pub across the road and one a few mins from here.

Haxey Quays is a beautiful campsite. We come here every weekend all year round. Heather and Adrian do a marvellous job looking after everyone. We have met some lovely people here. There is a park for children and the river idle runs along side the campsite which is amazing in summer. There are two brand new toilet / shower blocks. This site is pet friendly with some lovely walks along the river. There is a pub over the road that serves lovely food daily if you fancy a treat or the on site burger van is open during the school summer holidays. If you book a holiday here you won't be disappointed.

This pla e his a great haven to eternal away chill or have a great time on the river I been coming here thew years now seen it grow to be 1 off the best around and also great shout out to the owners and Heather who runs the site pet friendly and nice food in haxey gate in pub at bottom off camp enjoy gatantee u be back ps toilet block plays music for u imicalute has well lol

Very clean camp site. Staff are helpful no problems when we have stopped.

Lovley site, lovley owners, great management always there to help. Some lovley walks to do and a smashing little pub just over the road ....perfect what more can ya want 👌

Love Haxey Quays been coming a while. Great walks for dogs beautiful scenery. Immaculate toilets and showers. Not far from a little village Misterton with an award winning chippy. West Stockwith is within easy reach and try the yacht club for the lovely marina and excellent priced booze. It also has two lovely pubs White Hart for delicious food and the Waterfront offers a warm welcome and entertainment on saturday night. Gainsborough is a lovely little market town is not too far away and within easy reach of Bawtry and Retford. There is a great little park for kids. Doncaster wildlife park is within easy reach.
There is a pub across the road from the sight.
