Haut-Lac International Bilingual School is a leading international school with day and boarding options for 600 students aged 3 to 18 in Switzerland. Our bilingual education runs through preschool, primary and secondary to culminate in International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Students therefore develop solid academic knowledge, strong bilingual English-French skills, life skills and the global outlook universities want. They study in small classes, where learning involves hands-on projects, real-world problem-solving and personalised support. Extra-curricular activities, competitive sports and the arts complement this learning to boost modern world communication skills, critical thinking and adaptability. That’s for both the day students and the international students at our nurturing Swiss boarding school, which overlooks Lake Geneva on the Swiss Riviera. And it means our graduates leave as confident, multilingual young people ready for leading universities in Switzerland and abroad.

Great school with modern academic approach and a dedication for students well-being
I graduated from Haut-Lac back in 2007, but remember the time well. I loved the 50/50 bilingual learning experience, which actually sparked my interest in languages and made me go on to study Spanish at university. That and the balance of academics, sport, art, etc., definitely helped me and/or shaped my path after school in a good way.
My son is in the Infant section at Haut-Lac School. He is 5 years old, and I am extremely happy with our choice. I have seen so much progress in him: he learnt two languages and takes part in many different activities (during the curriculum and in the afternoon after the lessons). He is really proud of what he learns everyday and as a parent I truly believe this is an excellent school.
Great bilingual school (English &French) in a spectacular location - overlooking lake Geneva, Switzerland.
