After 10 years of being a true supporter I quit. The developers are digging their own grave, focusing on things like arena design and mustaches on players instead of their biggest flaw - the game engine. Where it doesn't matter how good of a team you have, or how much time you spend managing it, you can still lose to someone who has literally zero chances of winning the match.

The inflation caused on the player market due to developers not thinking things through, makes me start to question what kind of people are running this company.

So basically you're just throwing away your time because in the end they won't address the issues.

The customer supports is rather rude, and ignores emails as well.

there are many things. the graphics are bad. the game is free but you need to be a supporter to play games once your newbie time is over you cant do ladder games or friendly and need to have points to do it. theres also an issue with the complexity of the game. it is not well explained and things happen and we dont know how to change it because the help section is awful and too complex. there is a tutor option but i tried it and those tutors were more interested in playing for me that explaining and the game is so hard that even with a tutor its very hard to understand anything. theres also the problem with the game community and the forum of the website. many people dont care and will blame you instead of helping. theres issues with moderators that decide when they agree or not with some things and they can give bad decisions like delete parts of your message and let other people make fun of you without doing anything when they feel its ok to do it.

Probably the best online football manager game in the world! I've been playing it continously for the last 22 years and probably I will do so for the forseeable future. It only requires a miniumum of 10-20 minute to spend playing it every week, so not much at all. I've also been an active Supporter Platinum user for the last 10 years.

It is just no fun for me. I want to developed my club in the long run. Get trainer who train my players and when they are ready...let them play and get used to the game.
But...not in Hattrick...you have to let your players play 90 minutes at least for them to develop... So you are bound on setting your best players on the bench, other ways, the rest cannot develop...that takes the whole fun of the game away for me...

Back in the day the game was too slow for me but now!
Now I think that this is the best game ever. Highly strategical, loads of thinks to consider, you need to go for the long run and decisions.
Best game ever. It's as oldschool as it could be, but it's highly rewarding game once you read all the manuals and get the hang of it.

This December I bought 1 year Supporter Gold but last year my credit card was set up for automatic renewal for Supporter Silver. When I set up Supporter Gold it stated that it would cancel my current subscription but it did not. Instead I now have 1 year of Supporter Gold and another year of Supporter Silver in 2025.

I tried to contact the admins and they told me it was my own fault because I had automatic renewal on my Silver Subscription. They offer to pay some of the subscription cost back but really eats a big portion with large "admin" fees.

The customer service is so bad and they didn’t try to help at all.
I encourage everyone to avoid this game, it has a lots of bugs, no buttons to cancel a transfer if you want to change your mind or if you bid by mistake. Recently a huge bug encountered, the transfer was costing 20.000 but when I bid they have charged me 3.600.000 millions and they didn’t try to help at all.
They have replied late as well and I needed to send 4 messages and talk dirty to them in order to answer.
Stupid and bad customer experience.

If you like football, odds, numbers, long time planning strategies and you are passionate, patient, conservative, this is the game for you. You can play for free and be competitive. The subscriptions are optional.

This game is a slow burner. It is as much a strategy game as it is a management sim. This means that it is rewarding when you see your plan working out.

Training is s fun challenge, you train a skill each week and watch you players improve.

The Devs have put in a number of balances so it really is down to sticking with a plan and waiting. There's no Man City style of spend spend spend or paying for in game money etc.

Then we go on to the community. One of the best parts of hattrick is the community. The saddest thing is this is behind a huuuuuuge paywall.

The lowest price point doesn't give you much, the biggest incentive is a second team but that is in the third year of supporter. A 4th tier gives you a third team. Other benefits are nice and scale with each tier but, for me, the prices are far far too high to justify spending money on them.

In summary, you don't need supporter. The base game is brilliant and the community being behind a paywall doesn't stop that being true, it just means I give the game 4 stars not 5.

I played hattrick.org for about 2-3 years until 2010, and this month i thought of going back. Joined June 19, 2021. I was excited for first few days, but now i just dont feel the same. i mean there is nothing much to do. i have 2 games per week. training update once a week. The rest is just waiting and waiting. I kind of remembered why i quit in the 1st place. I thought of starting another team as i see the option enabled, but holy crap around 8 euros per month. 15 euros for higher end subscription. I mean holy moly! i have not seen more expensive monthly subscription for a game where literally nothing happens. hattrick.org started feeling like facebook feed, where you just psychologically swipe hoping to see a new post. This game feels the same. you just look at stats, old forum posts over and over again...waiting for a few players upskill to excellent :D oh well i am playing for now and lets see for how long, this time. But i decided that i wont pay the expensive subscription. It is just not worth it to pay that much.

Do not deposit your credit card!
The amount for a 1-year membership was automatically debited from my credit card, although the current one would have lasted almost one year.
The day after the debit there was a 15% discount on memberships for all users which was very annoying.
I wrote a mail to Hattrick administration about this but they did not answer my questions until now...

Expect thieving. DO NOT give them your bank card details. Fraudulent charges have been made and they are refusing to return the funds.

The game is really good but the people running it are like dictators, and the way they treat you as a customer is just not good enough. It is virtually impossible to have a sensible dialogue with them about any issues, and the GM's are like school prefects. Such a shame as the game can be fun.

Poor game. Unbalanced AI and series. Basically, if you are a new player you will never be able to grow your team and be competitive.

This game is the only football management game online I will touch, and with one of the largest and most rewarding open communities. Instant satisfaction will lead to disaster, this is a marathon for minds that can cope.

I play at Division 1 of Cyprus. This game is obsolete with poor mechanics and the only goal of the development team is the interface.

This is hands down the best football manager game ever!
