Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. I've repeatedly asked Hathway Broadband to stop calling me, yet I continue to receive harassing calls multiple times a day. Even worse, some of the agents have been abusive and rude on the phone. When I told them I would file a complaint, they arrogantly replied, "Do whatever you want."
This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. No customer deserves to be treated this way. I will never recommend Hathway to anyone. Respect your customers and fix your service.
Horrible service, network and technicians
Dear HathwayTeam,
I haven't seen such a third class service provider, who does not understand the problem of the customer. 5 tickets in a span of 1 week and no solution till date, just harassment of customers.
The upload has stopped at 0.8 and I am unable to work on any of my business applications from home. If you cannot solve the issue, then please take your connection back and refund the money to the customer. We pay you in advance and this is how you treat your customers, your backend team is the most hopeless team I have ever seen, they should be thrown out of their jobs, they solve the issue for 4-5 hours and it's back to the same.
Worst Experience from Hathway
Extremely disappointing experience with Hathway Broadband.
They don’t even deserve a single star. The service is unreliable, with frequent disconnections and extremely slow resolution times. Customer support is almost non-existent — calls are rarely answered, and when they are, the response is unhelpful and vague.
Technicians either don't show up on time or don't come at all. Even after repeated complaints, there is no follow-up or urgency from their side. It feels like they just want to take your money and vanish.
Please avoid Hathway at all costs.
There are far better alternatives like ACT Fibernet, which provides much more reliable service, better speed, and excellent customer support.
Save yourself the frustration — choose a provider that actually cares about its customers.
Not even deserve one star
Not even deserve one star. They don't want to give you any post installment services. They just want money from you and for that they will call in several times a day by different numbers but if you face problem of any kind they just don't wanna see you. I'm trying to fix my wi fi for last two days but nobody is coming everybody is way ng sir coming in one hour.... Then 2 days are passed. And I'm getting frustrated nothing else.

Your Hathway service has been extremely poor. I have followed up with you four to five times and sent emails, but I have not received a satisfactory response. Your support person claims to help and then escalates the issue to the next day, and they are not even willing to pick up the phone the following day. Because of such a bad experience, we have already closed two accounts, and now there are two more accounts pending. If you cannot resolve the issue with one of these accounts, we will have no choice but to close these as well. There are many other good companies in the market better than yours. It is essential that you resolve this issue as soon as possible, or we will close these accounts within a day or two.

Unprofessional Hathway Mumbai
As far as Mumbai is concerned, Neither the owner Mr. Viren Raheja nor its top management have any respect for loyal Employees nor customers.
Their bandwidth provisioning at the backend NOC is also not proper & customers have to compromise with their paid money & their outdated cable broadband technology infrastructure,let alone tolerate the tantrums of the local cable operator.. This is my personal experience as an Ex Employee & Ex Head Customer support for 10 long years from 2003- 2013. So i definitely know the in & out of the company, its management, its customers & the unethical ways of false ratings given to TRAI team by false claims.
If possible/available search alternate ISP providers & dont give your hard earned money to Hathway.
Giving false Excuses of limitations of cable broadband, their main goal is to convert customers to fiber technology & Extract a premium amount

unreliable customer support
we have been trying to move where the router is from one room to another for the past 15 days, we called 5 times in these 15 days and everytime the only solution they could provide is "raise a ticket on the app or website" finally after the 15 days when someone shows up he says he forgot a drill and will come back later in the day and never showed up. their support is unreliable and I've been facing down time for the past 15 days, half of this month that I've paid for has been wasted and if we delay the montly payment by even one day they completely stop the internet, what sort of anti-consumer service is this
Poor customer service, waste of time and money
They threatened me to pay the router cost of Rs 2500 when I was abroad, and I paid the same details below.

Now I'm back in India and requested to restore the connection and now they say I need to pay Rs 607 for a month saying they supply the router free ignoring my router payment. I sent an email, but they haven't responded yet.

I've been using Hathway for more than 2.5 years. Initially the Hathway customer service was too good. But after this migjam cyclone I lost broadband connection. I agree due to cyclone the electricity and broadband line may got affected. But it was still not resolved and it crossed more than 17 days. In my area even other broadband network like Jio, Airtel xstream, Act were working fine within 3 days from the natural disaster. Whenever I tried to reach technician the call was either busy or switched off. Even not able to reach customer support and the IVR suggested to chat with AI diva which is completely useless. By luck I've reached support for 3-4 times every time the representative want us to allow one more day of time so that they technicians will reach me. But I've been for their call for more than 3 days. Not able to cancel this network also... Really fed-up with this one ..

I’ve been promised of offers and I never got them, I’ve been trying to call and highlight the concern and the problem still persist since the executive just listen to my complaint and hang up the call again I call again I’ve to repeat and again they hang up, now the call is also not getting connected. Firstly they gave me offer of 3 months with additional 1 month complimentary and right after three months they asked me to renew it, innocent me I dint release it’s just three months and 4th complimentary month I’ve not utilised, lately again they gave an offer of 1 month with additional 5 days complimentary, and right after completion of 1 month they are constantly calling for the renewal. I briefed them 1000 times about the plan, they say it’s not there in my package which clearly proves that their employees are just fooling the customers just to buy their services. It’s clearly unacceptable behaviour from each one of them. They all are fraud who are representing HATHWAY. I want my 1 month + 5 days comp any how.

I did not recharge in the first place because their service and Internet connectivity is not good but I kept receiving multiped calls and gave false promise telling the internet connectivity issue is fixed and their customer care is improved. I once again made a huge mistake by renewing the account but the service was not activated its been 3days plus days when I reach the customer care they disconnect the call because am looking for immediate resolution which they are not ready to provide. Worst support and network
Though I do not want to comment about the network quality. Their support is worst in case of any technical faults or shifting internally. If you call them for assistance, they would ask to cancel the connection if not happy but will not expedite or work on our request. THE WORST support in INDIA is HATHWAY. People who are with commitment and working from home, please stay away from HATHWAY.
