Whilst I am technically proficient with the hardware side, having built many many pc's over the years I'm hopeless when it comes to disc management software etc, just isn't my bailiwick...
Needed to clone a 1tb nvme over to a 1tb sata SSD, then a little later I needed to clone that SSD onto a 512gb NVME as part of a system split (my all in one server/gaming machine, I split it out into 2 separate systems but didn't wanna rebuild my emby metadata etc)
Used the free app to do the cloning & re sizing, which it did automatically and with an incredibly simple GUI,
Literally just a case of tick this source, tick this destination, and click to proceed...
Considering it was free for my personal use case scenario the very least I can do is give it a review, it literally saved me a full day+ of work if I'd had to rebuild even just one of the machines back to where I needed it to be..
After Macrium switched to a subscription, rent-an-app, "extortion payment" model, I started hunting for a replacement. Hasleo is it. It does the job perfectly, for a better price, is simple to use, and their support is top notch. It's as fast or faster then others and results in a smaller image file (good compression) than most. Backing up my freshly installed Windows disk (15 GB used) takes 23 seconds. It is crazy fast and results in a ~7 GB image file.
It does not specifically support Linux EXT file systems, so falls back to a byte:byte backup that can be rather large, but most importantly, it does make a working backup image of it. That's the only "missing feature" I'm hoping will get added some day. For now, as long as I do a Trim command ("sudo fstrim -v /" = removes/zeros out deleted bits so they don't get added to the backup image) on the SSD just before the backup, I still get great results with Hasleo vs Linux. That is if it's on an SSD. On a spinning disk drive (no Trim), you get a huge backup image...but I can't fault Hasleo for that. It is a Windows based software.
I have been using Hasleo Backup Suite since version 3; it is running exceptionally well for me. The restore operations—delta or full—have completed successfully; I have performed many tests and actual restores. I appreciate Hasleo Backup Suite for its neat interface, speed, and reliability; it is my primary backup solution on Windows 11 systems.
Hasleo Backup Suite is both speedy and reliable. I joined their forum to provide feedback and shape the product. The Hasleo team is attentive and responsive to its users' needs.
I have been following the development of the "Hasleo Backup Suite" since December 2022 (v3) and have contributed toward its eventual release. At the time of its official PAID release, the product has evolved into one of the finest imaging/backup software applications on the market. It is FAST (as fast as your System's components allow it to be) and very reliable. The DATA compression used in its imaging algorithms is state of the art. I have used it to restore my System hundreds of times without issue. It's so fast when using its "Delta Restore" feature (only restores the differences it finds between the disk/partition being restored to and the image being restored) that I use it very effectively as a "snapshot tool" (like the RollbackRX and Eazy Fix "time machines") for quick software tests and some possible nefarious web access. I find it as bullet proof as possible in its current state.
I have speed tested it against other imaging tools (Macrium REFLECT, Acronis True Image and AOMEI) and have found it to be mostly equal to or superior in their imaging/restoration capabilities.
Hasleo has a FREE version available (the biggest limitation being it doesn't work with large group licensing, Enterprise & Education) and one of its paid versions is perpetual ad-infinitum... current and all future versions. There's no SUBSCRIPTION licensing here. Their User Forum support as well as their DIRECT Support email address is excellent with very timely response. This is an excellent product!
I am another former Macrium Reflect (MR) user for many years, who refused to switch to the subscription model that was introduced with MR Version X. I did my research, and selected the paid Hasleo Backup Suite Pro (HBSP) with free lifetime version updates the day it went on sale last October 2025.
As well, I own a lifetime license of Easeus Todo Backup Home (ETBH). For the last several months, I have been comparing MR Version 8, ETBH 2026, and HBSP, alternating my weekly imaging of my two computers between all three products, and posting my findings on the Hasleo Forums.
When I first started my testing, HBSP was lagging behind the other two products, but it has been steadily improved by the Hasleo Team. Recent testing shows it far surpassing ETBH performance, and slightly exceeding MR8. Note that I have not tested the MRX version because I refuse to purchase subscription imaging products.
I am also a Hasleo Forum member since October 2024. I visit daily. I am very aware of the outstanding support that the Hasleo Team Forum Administrator provides to all users of Hasleo products, whether free or paid.
To combat the spam plague afflicting all Forums everywhere, I volunteered to be appointed as a Moderator to assist the Forum Admin in the last week or so. Nevertheless, my testing and impressions are based on fact, not on loyalty to any one product.
I have received no discounts or incentives as a Moderator, or for this review, or for my comments on other computer Forums that I visit about the quality of the Hasleo Backup Suite program.
I am posting my review now because some previous reviews here are completely unfair to the Hasleo Team and their products. I suspect many are unfounded.
BOTTOM LINE: If you are looking for a superior backup imaging programs, Hasleo offers first-class products, both paid and free, and they continue to evolve and improve. If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions for future improvements, you are encouraged to join and post in the Hasleo Forums. All posts receive a reply, usually within 24 hours.
I first heard about Hasleo's products, especially Hasleo Backup Suite, when I was searching for alternatives to Macrium Reflect. I wasn't happy with the choice Macrium took with becoming subscription based only.
I tried many different tools from competitors (Acronis True Image, AOMEI Backupper, Redo Rescue, Rescuezilla, EaseUS Todo Backup, Veeam Agent and more) but they all were either missing features, had a cluttered interface or the performance was just bad compared to Reflect.
During the same time I read a change log for Hasleo Backup Suite on a German website called Deskmodder. So I gave HBS a try. The software - despite its name - is very lightweighted (less than 50 MB!) but still provides all the features you could ask for. Back then HBS still had some bugs that I discovered during my testings. So I found out about their support forum, registered and posted a thread with my findings. To my surprise their support responded within half a day and they immediately had a fix ready for me to test. I tested their beta and the problems were gone. That was just crazy.
So I kept HBS installed and dived deeper into testings, reported more bugs I found and basically HBS turned into an extremely stable backup solution within half a year or so. Support was and still is incredible helpful and very interested in making this product better and better.
Fast forward 1.5 years, I'm still using HBS and even bought the professional edition now - although the free version would've been enough with all that features it provides.
Long story short: This company is awesome, listens to their customers and the product has become extremely stable and major. Their support is incredible, never seen such dedication ever before.
If you're in search for a good backup solution, give HBS a try, you won't regret it.
Made my start and destination drive 100% Disk Usage and trust me NO fix for this. I have to buy a new drive now DO not use this. Use a reputable brand.

This app is completely broken, full of bugs and unusable. Almost an abandonware at this point. Support is totally useless they will only tell you to buy the premium version. Why would I pay money for a broken app, if even the free version is broken??? Even the plugin author admits the paid version has bugs. This app is totally unreliable, can't be trusted with your important data. Backups are constantly lost. Restoring from backups doesn't work, it stay stuck on "please wait" and never restore anything. This is the worst backup app I have ever used. I lost data many times due to their incompetence. I've tried many times to restore a backup today and AGAIN the app freezes and never restores anything. There is NO EXCUSE in 2026 to ship a product full of bugs. Use AI or something to fix your mess, it's a total disaster.
Edit: now the owner is pretending what I'm saying is not true. Listen dude I did not reply to your email because I HAVE ALREADY WASTED ENOUGH TIME trying to debug your software, providing logs, only to be told to upgrade to a non-free version. Then I said I was hesitant to pay for a software after experiencing bugs, I said I was willing to give it a try if you commit to refunding my money if the bugs are not fixed in the paid version, which you declined. At this point I tried enough and I have no obligation to continue debugging your app especially if I'm forced to pay for it. So you are clearly lying when you pretend you never suggest to pay if people face issues. The version you wanted me to upgrade is NOT free, it's only a 15 days trial, then you're forced to pay to get the same features that were free in the previous version.
To be clear, the bugs is that all backups task are lost, and restoring from backups fails 90% of the time. The app just stay stuck or freezes. It's completely useless and fails at doing what it's supposed to. My review represent a real experience and it's my right to be disappointed.
To quote your own words from our email correspondence:
"To be honest, due to limited manpower and funding, Hasleo Backup Suite may indeed have some undetected issues, because we don't have enough personnel to conduct more testing."
(you were talking about the LATEST RELEASE)
I just tried again today restoring a SINGLE FILE from a backup. It failed 5 times in a row. App freezing or just getting stuck. It happens all the time.

I purchased WinToUsb Professionals to install Win 10 on my Atari VCS Hybrid back in 2020. Works great but I did not want to do a fresh Install from 10 to 11 so I bought Windows To Go Upgrader on 1-29-26 and after I had a question I emailed support and they were quick to respond, were patient and answered all my questions. The upgrade worked great. I had to upgrade from 10 to 11 because of Turbo Tax not supporting 10. Last night Win 11 was updating and I got the BCD error that my boot drive is corrupt. I do not blame Hasleo. I know it's MS that caused this issues. My files are still there so I will just reinstall/repair with the installation steps and will get it up and running again. It's great software and easy to follow the instructions. I am using a 1 GB USB WD HDD Passport. Great customer support. Thank you
Hasleo Backup Suite has my complete confidence. I have used it to bare-metal restore to new HDDs and SSDs.
I have used it to backup whole drives, and restore them at will, as well as individual partition backups and restores.
I use it daily to complete differential backups of my critical files, and have restored these at will.
This software is powerful, versatile, fast, and above all reliable, and if you contact the company you always get a quick reply, and quick help.
This company has to be the best I have experienced. One of their products, EasyUEFI is pretty close to unique and even from early days worked just great. I use it to boot in to all sorts of stuff often without a hitch.
Their MAIN, product Hasleo Backup Suite, is hardly unique, probably being the most recent serious entry in to this well-serviced market. But that said, it also has to be among the best and also the fastest at creating an image from which you can restore your entire system. In my dealings with Hasleo as a newish user, they have always been responsive and attentive to any queries about their software but also very knowledgeable about backup-imaging software more generally.
Wow. Somebody made a review, saying they paid for it?? And the review was not marked as fake? It's completely free, and imho one of the best diskimage backup, restore, schedule, incremental backup, mount as a drive, single file extract etc. etc. programs, I have ever tried. I am a 74 year old computer nerd, who can assure you, Hasleo Backup Suite is the best of its kind, that I have ever tried. Really. - And I have tried a lot! :)
I use Windows To Go NVME disks frequently. I find them extremely useful for working with various programs where a virtual machine is not adequate for my needs. I have an offline disk duplicator that allows me to return them to their original configuration quickly. The primary limitation of "To-Go" disks is that they cannot be upgraded from one major software revision to the next. This seemed like a good option.
The problem is that in my experience the system ends up corrupting both the boot partition and the primary partition frequently and takes hours to complete the process. It took me several tries to convert my first NVME. There are just too many variables that can screw things up.
For me it is much easier to create a new disk with the latest revision than try to stumble through the unwieldy, unreliable and very time-consuming process that this program puts you through.
In the end this program is not worth the time or the effort. And the 30 day "warranty" is a complete joke. If you bother to look at the fine print you will realize that once the developer gets your money... the chances of getting it back are approximately zero even if you are highly dissatisfied.
This review actually received a response from Hasleo after approximately 8 months. It ended, "Finally, we believe Trustpilot.com should be a platform for presenting facts and truth, not a megaphone for personal conjecture or a hub for misleading information."
I believe the same thing and have done my best to provide a completely honest evaluation. I appreciate that the persons and company which designed and deployed this software no doubt faced challenges trying to get it to do the job that it was designed to accomplish.
I do not know of any other options that work any better for this task other than just starting over. I did not mention in the review that I did express my dissatisfaction with the product to the company before my review was written. As you might guess from the tone of the response that they left for me here... they were not helpful, and I was not offered a refund.
I have received another response from Hasleo. I have made no judgement on the character of the individuals involved. And I have nothing against the company... I just cannot recommend their products after the negative experience that I had. I tried the trialware and it indicated that the software would work for my system, which is why I purchased it. It was a terrible experience which wasted many hours of my time.
After reading their response I checked to see if they had an updated version, but even though I have already purchased the software it appeared that I would have to pay the full price to get the latest version. Trust Pilot does not allow links in reviews, and the list of reasons they will not honor it is so long that I am unable to paste them all here, but please look up their 30 Days Refund Policy Statement.
Here are the reasons that they say will allow them to issue a refund:
"A customer purchased a wrong product, and then purchased the correct product from our company."
"A customer purchased the same product twice or purchased two products with similar functions. In this case, we will refund one of the products for you."
"A customer has been double charged due to our ecommerce payment platform."
"The extended download service (EDS) charge is not your selection but added and charged you automatically by our ecommerce payemt platform. Partial refund of extended download service (EDS) is accpeted."
"The customer does not receive the license key within 24 hours of purchase and has not received a timely response (within 24 hours) from our support team after making contact. In this case, Hasleo will refund the customer's order if he/she has no need of the product in future."
"Software purchased has terminal technical problems, and no solution has been provided within 30 days after our support team provides email support and remote assistance. In this case, Hasleo will refund the purchase price if the customer doesn't want to wait for a future upgrade."
These are the only times when Hasleo says that they will give a refund which seems to contradict the person who has responded here.

Shitware crashed my new state of the art Windows 11 Pro box and crashed the fully working external drive I cloned to. In the process of cloning it corruptedd the boot sector and on reboot I was faced with the blue screen of death and hours of running cmd lines before being able to restore my system. These guys are bad news. Their shitware is worse news. Having contacted them for a refund there was no response. So not only do they create Win killer software but they are also low rent thieves.

I recently discovered Hasleo Backup Suite. I also have Acronis True Image 2025 (and before 2020), but ATI is too complex, meaning too many choices and features. I read a review on techradar and gave Hasleo a try. I was positive surprised by the simplicity. And… it works perfectly. I tested it by making backups and did recoveries. I have now left Acronis behind. (EasUS Todo Backup Free is not my choice either.) I’ll stick with Hasleo now.
I had a storied, but not awful experience with Hasleo (EasyUEFI). Fundamentally the software did what it said, but it could do with better error handling. Support was difficult to access, but then very responsive in the end.
I purchased "Windows To Go Professional + Windows To Go Upgrader Professional + Lifetime Free Upgrades" in a bundle for about $80. I used "Windows To Go" successfully, but when I tried to use the upgrader I got an unhelpful error message (Copy file failed 0x06ED0080000000020). This sort of error might have been acceptable in the early 90s, but it's poor software craftmanship by today's standards. I then set about trying to get some support.
I registered with their forum, then validated my email with a code. I then tried to post to their support Forum, which appeared to be locked:

Since none of these assertions seemed true to me, I emailed their support@ address. Initially I got no response, but I have discovered that they did send one. I checked my SPAM folders and while there was no sign of the original email, I accept responsibility for not receiving it. When I emailed a second time from another address, they did get back to me. They explained the error message and the limitation with the software, which sadly makes it not useful for me.
I requested a refund and even though lots of time had passed, they were reasonable and decent about it.
This started as a 2-star review, but I've been consistently impressed by their support. This is now a 4-star review, because every company should be allowed to make mistakes if they're willing to remedy them retrospectively.
I can't believe how bad their software is, destroyed all my data, I wanted to recover it with their own software, just garbage.
Even worse, they say it is free and then they wanted to charge me to recover my info.
Complaint to them, no answer whatsoever.
Stay away from them.
