Harvst Reviews 

I've had the watermate Pro for a few weeks now and it's been constant struggles. First getting the kit set up (missing parts, ill fitting connections) and getting answers from their team is like pulling teeth. Every question takes days to answer and then half of my questions are ignored.
The kit itself isn't anything special compared to others and the app is poor without much functionality and poorly explained features if an explanation at all, especially in offline mode - where else would a solar powered kit be used except far from WiFi?
I'd avoid them if I had to do it again.

I had originally given 3 starts due to some technical problems I was having with my Harvst s6 automatic lid. I received so much help and support and my mini greenhouse is all up and running beautifully. The staff , expecially Stacey have been so supportive helping me to rectify the problem I was having. 5 stars is the least I can do. The actual mini green house itself is the perfect size for my tiny garden. It tucks neatly against my south facing wall and although small it has ample room for at least 6 standard seed trays, or small pots. Larger pots can be popped at the bottom.

I recently purchased a Harvst-mini system for my greenhouse. It came promptly and all worked well on installation, with useful video guides. Chris at Harvst monitored the system after installation and advised me of a small and easily rectified issue with timekeeping in the system. A few weeks in, one of the sensors failed; again, I received a quick and very helpful and 'engaged' response from Chris to sort the problem out. Top marks for service.

Grat bit of kit

The greenhouse arrived promptly and was reasonably easy to assemble. Slightly confused by mention of supplied brackets which we didn't have. Asked about this and was told they are not supplied anymore - fair enough but perhaps the instructions could be updated.

The team at Harvst are first class in responding to customers questions, that goes for prior to buying and months after purchase.

The small greenhouse/coldframe is very well built and will last for so many years. The space inside allows for plenty of growing capability and being able to buy the extra bits when savings have increased should I need to is great too.
The ethics of the company are extremely good especially trying to source everything as local as possible and a product that is built to last for a long time, that is not requiring to be replaced in 2-3 yrs because it is broken.
The units may not be as cheap as chips compared to others but I am sure they will last much longer and they are all built in the UK.

Treat yourself to a quality growing space!!!!!

Had no end of problems with connection, was advised to send the control box back.
In the end Harvst came to collect the box, which I was grateful for.
I also ordered some heated seed trays & the connectors were different to the box connectors.
The refurbished box has now been sent back but I do not seem able to connect it all together.
This greenhouse in theory is great but in practice is not fit for purpose.

Chris at Harvst was very helpful on the phone, but my order was sent to the wrong address.

The mini watering system is fairly easy to install but suffers because all of the electrical leads are short, forcing suboptimal positioning of components. The hose provided in the mini kit is said to be 4m in the manual but is in fact 2m and I needed to replace it with my own 3m hose.

The bracket for the valves was missing from my kit.

I started off with a prototype Harvst in December, and have been finding out how to operate control system through to spring variations of weather and summer; what/when and where to plant seeds. It had been a very interesting learning experience. When there have been queries, I have found responses from Harvst team helpful and the interaction of other Harvst owners useful. My success in growing depends a lot on following clear guidelines for best soils and timings, etc. - which are given in regular newsletters. Service to customers is enthusiastic and encouraging.

Prompt shipment, clear instructions. Excellent support during installation and initial setup. Lots of info shared on how to get best use out of greenhouse.

App and Controller software continue to evolve, bringing in new functionality.

Harvst are very open to suggestions and feedback from users.

An efficient, prompt and friendly service. I had a few questions prior to making my purchase - Rik answered there clearly and quickly. Delivery was timely. I had a few queries about constructing the greenhouse - again, Rik was very helpful in answering my questions, even sending photos to assist. There was a part missing, which was sent on quickly. There had unfortunately been a little damage to one part, presumably in transit, and Rik sent a replacement (no quibble) and arranged for collection of the original part. All in all, a great service. I would recommend Harvst.
