Product I had ordered for Click and Collect was packed and ready. It was also 25% cheaper than the same product in other stores. Staff member was also very helpful and courteous.

Three sofas later, and they still couldn't get our order right. We placed the order in December 2025, and by July it still hadn't been delivered correctly or in a condition that should have been acceptable for sale.

The first two sofas arrived in the wrong colour. The third arrived with blue pen marks and stains, despite us being told it was brand new.

I would avoid Harvey Norman based on our experience. We purchased from the Carrickmines store and won't be buying from them again. Although we eventually received a refund, we had to chase it ourselves every step of the way. Overall, the level of customer service and quality control was extremely disappointing.

Ordered online, it was seamless and the product arrived expendiously and exactly as described

Waiting on a click n collect order since 4 days! Everytime i ring to check on whats the delay, nobody has any clue! Like 4 days for a click n collect order!!!! This is a joke! Never again!

Terrible delivery and after-sales experience from start to finish.

One of the delivery drivers was extremely condescending and made completely inappropriate remarks, even questioning what I do in this country and claiming that “a certain community is robbing this country.” This was both unprofessional and offensive.

The delivery team also refused to unpack the boxed sofa unless I first signed a waiver accepting full responsibility for any damage during delivery. After I spoke with the sales manager, the delivery crew admitted they could not safely lift the sofa because they were short-handed. They took photos of the access route and agreed to return on another day.

To make delivery easier, I agreed to change my order from a 3-seater to a smaller 2-seater. However, I found that the delivery requirements seemed to vary depending on which driver arrived, making the process inconsistent and frustrating.

When the sofa was finally delivered, it appeared to be either a returned item or a display model rather than a brand-new product. It was poorly wrapped in loose, torn plastic, with some parts completely uncovered. The installation was also incomplete, leaving the power recliner controls inaccessible. I had to wait several days and arrange additional help to reinstall the sofa correctly so I could actually use it. No instruction manual or user guide was provided.

The after-sales team said they would investigate whether the sofa had previously been returned or used as a display model, but they never followed up with a clear answer. Instead, they asked me to provide proof that it was a display model, despite my concerns being based on the condition in which it was delivered.

Overall, the showroom creates an excellent first impression, but my experience after purchase was a major disappointment. Poor communication, inconsistent delivery standards, unacceptable customer service, and questionable product condition made what should have been an exciting purchase a very frustrating experience.

No screws, Allen key etc - have to wait for follow up visit, pretty poor

Wonderful service! Prompt and efficient, kept updated with delivery time. Very helpful, cheerful delivery guys had to heave the washing machine over a wall as a skip was blocking the trolley and did it with a smile! Big thank you 😊

Harvey norman was a easy fast and secure purchase.
The delivery company however left my food mixer on my gate pillar and thankfully a neighbour saw it and took it in before it was robbed.

The men were very pleasant and delivered my mattress on time.
