I used Harvard Square Essays' service to improve my personal statement, and it elevated it to another level. What I appreciated the most was that the editor did not change my ideas or my writing style! Jasmin was the editor, and she did a terrific job. I highly recomend getting your papers reviewed before submitting them.

These people are not legit, I submitted my essay review order on June 30 and today is July 2 they charged me 200$ For 48 hours service but still nothing. Like I’m so paranoid they are gonna take my essay and run away. Truly bad.
I also wrote an email to there costumer support center but no response from them. I have lost my money and time. This is for MBA. The site won’t even let me sign in but i have PayPal receipts. Like i should have screenshotted the number with order and all because they never send you anything. Was apparently assigned to a reviewer according to the confirmation page but never heard back

I found this service through Googling at first and I have been using this platform since preparing college. I would say that the ps essay I have got fixed did not guarantee my acceptances, but I personally was so shock after reading all the changes, small details, and wordings that made myself to learn alot.

Sent my personal statement on the 21st of February. It has been 5 days and no information or contact. I have reached out to the customer service email and no response.

Jasmin was assigned as my editor. She did an amazing job at editing my essay and organizing it. It was exactly how i envisioned it in my head. The turnaround time was as promised, exactly 48 hours after. She also was very quick to respond via the client portal with any questions i had!

I received great feedback for my first essay. My revised essay came out exceptional and polished!

I ordered their Veritas service ($249 per essay) for 4 essays, and unfortunately, I’m disappointed with their turnaround time and responsiveness. Despite their promise of a 24~48 hour turnaround for this premium service, that promise was not upheld. Out of my four orders, only one was responded within the promised 48 hours. The remaining 3 essays took anywhere from one to two weeks just to receive the first revision from my editor.

While the Veritas service includes a one-week revision period, even those responses often took several days to a week or more. This delay was incredibly frustrating, especially with my deadlines approaching. Although my editor initially provided some decent feedback and revisions, the lack of communication during those long waiting periods left me feeling completely ghosted. Also, she did not get back with the final revision on two of my essays before the submission deadline so I had to get an external support to finalize my essay. I even messaged her saying if she can't get realistically back to me before the deadline, just let me know ASAP so I can find alternative help, but she also didn't respond.

Additionally, their client portal appears to have technical issues that further exacerbate delays. According to my editor, messages or drafts sent through this portal don’t always reach the editor promptly. Shockingly, this issue seems to have been reported by another user who left a review years ago, yet it remains unresolved. This lack of investment in improving their system is unacceptable for a service of this caliber.

To make matters worse, their customer service email DOES NOT work. I emailed them multiple times about the delays but never received any response. Note that they do not provide a phone number for inquiries which is unprofessional and sketchy for a service at this price point. (The phone number shown on their TrustPilot profile is fake and doesn't work)

If you need prompt and reliable service and even a basic customer support, I cannot recommend this company. There are plenty of other options that provide personalized essay services and will likely keep the promise of fast turnaround. This service will leave you feeling super stressed and deceived.

Finally, here’s my direct feedback to the company since my email never seem to get to their customer service:
If a 48-hour turnaround isn’t manageable, please STOP advertising it as part of your service. From a customer’s perspective, this feels scammy, misleading and frustrating. Set a more manageable timeframe, update your service description, hire more editors, and improve customer support. It’s unacceptable that the only way to reach you seems to be through public reviews.
