Deceptive packaging on Hart 40 volt 18" mower
Thr Hart 40 volt 18" lawn mower has very deceptive advertising and packaging. The box that it comes in clearly says "Cuts Up to 1/3 Acre" on 4 sides of the box in large lettering. I have now used the mower on two different weekends, and the maximum time that I can get out of the one battery that comes with the mower is around 35 minutes. It then takes 4 hours to fully recharge. My lot is 1/3 acre, and after 35 minutes mowing and the battery runs out, I have completed about 1/4 of my lawn, if I walk/push the mower as fast as I can. With a recharge time of 4 hours, it has taken me 2 days to mow my lawn the 2 times that I have used it. When I contacted customer service, the representative told me that 35 minutes was a good amount of time to get from the battery. I tried to explain that 35 minutes was not enough time to mow a 1/3 acre lawn, but the representative refused my request to provide another battery or a different charger that would take less time to recharge. I purchased the mower with battery and charger at Walmart for $218, and a single replacement battery is listed on Walmart.com for $218! At this point I am not sure if I will be returning the mower, or accepting the fact that it will continue to take me 2-3 days to mow my 1/3 acre lawn.
I bought my leaf blower back at the end of October 2022
I bought my leaf blower back at the end of October, the battery would die after 10-15 minutes,I didn't use it again until trying it this March , the batery was dead and it can't be recharged , they obviously do this on purpase so you need to buy another battery which I did and that one only last about 10-15 min,now I have a battery that won't charge ,it just blinks 4 blue lights, why do they make batteries that can't be charged,I have call customer service and no surprise I'm still on hold
I am very disappointed in the product…
I am very disappointed in the product that I bought. My husband and I bought a 40 volt weed eater and it burned up the second time using it and almost caught fire! I will never buy another hart tool because of this. Honestly it was pretty scary...

I am DIY The hedge trimmer? I was skeptical, I live in Arizona and the hedge trimmer cuts Mesquite like a warm knife through butter.
Mesquite is hard to cut. A 20v tool that cuts?
Hart Tools Are a grand product in a sea of pretenders.
Bought a Rotating Handle Grass Shears
Bought a Rotating Handle Grass Shears, wasted my money on this. very disappointed did not cut the edge of grass at all. Very dull, the shears pointed did not do the job as a grass shears. Will not buy any other Hart products in the future that for sure.
Bought 40 volt blower
Bought 40 volt blower that was delivered in December. Fully charged the battery and used a few minutes to make sure it works. Put it away until end of January. At that time went to blow a few leaves off deck. Battery was 10-25%. Lost most of its power not being stored for little more than 30 days. Will return.
Are 10 Reviews Enough for a Fair Evaluation?
I have a few Hart products: The $500 battery-operated lawn mower, and the $69 battery-operated leaf blower. After a garage fire, these tools were fatally damaged. I re-ordered them without a second thought. I found them to be worth more than they cost. Good looking, too.
Then I found these reviews on TrustPilot. Given that there were only 10 reviews at the time I got here, I concluded that most of the users were less than happy about their purchases.
I believe that negative reviewers are more motivated to share their negative experiences than those who are satisfied with what they bought. I also feel that a total of 10 reviews is not enough to provide reasonable proof that the products are deeply flawed.
On the other hand, I was not impressed with the extensive web pages that say nothing other than "This is the best stuff on the planet." But should I assume that 10 reviews provide a complete and fair representation of the quality of Hart Tools?
I think it would be a good practice to refrain from publishing such a small number of reviews. If there were 100 reviews of Hart, and 20 percent were negative, I would not hesitate to place an order. Likewise, if only 20 percent were mostly positive, I'd likely pass.
I am satisfied
I have the 40 volt hedge trimer and the 40 volt string trimer. Love the both of them. No complants.
I have changed over to all Hart tools

Hart reciprocal saw
Hart reciprocal saw. Demo showed lightweight easy to use. Checked reviews. 4 star. In the middle of a project would not assemble properly. Meaning could not get blade into saw. That's it. Buyer beware. Reviews not reliable. Returned.

Faulty wet/dry Vac, No Customer Service
I purchased a wet/dry Vac 3 months ago, lasted about 3 weeks before the hose fell apart.

HORRIBLE POWER TOOLS...GARBAGE!!!
Two months ago my sister had bought me a set of Hart power tools (2 drills, flashlight, sawzall, 2 batteries and a charger) for my construction business I recently opened up. Well i haven't used the set until recently. The flashlight did not work at all. So i took it to Walmart and they refused to replace it because I had already used the drill. Okay, so I sucked it up. Well, i recently tried out the sawzall and the battery life is about 8 minutes. That is FULLY charged. Now I dont have time to keep charging batteries and switch them back and forth. The sawzall after using it 4x just stops working in the middle of a cut, and I have to take the battery out of it and put it right back in. Only for it to do the same thing 10 SECONDS later! I do NOT have time for this. These products are horrible and unreliable. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE PRODUCTS AT ALL!!!!!!!!!
