Helpful service and good delivery

I called into the Skipton store last weekend looking to buy a TV for my new home with some specific needs around using it for PC gaming as well as TV viewing.

I had a couple of models in mind and the store staff was really helpful in terms of showing me the screen quality and different features of the TVs. I ordered one (as they did not have it in stock and I only have a small car!) and the delivery people were on time and helpful. The price paid was identical to a major chain with the benefit of local service.

Had an issue with a radio I purchased and the team sorted me out with a replacement the next day with no fuss.

Excellent customer service

Went to the returns department in Earby. Spoke to Darryl. He was very helpful and informative. Wanted a fridge freezer. He showed how to use the Website to get best price. Went home used Website and paid extra for next day delivery. Got fridge freezer 09.30 next day. Delivery men friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Harry Garlick.

misuse of data

I created an online account several months ago in order to buy a product advertised on their website only to find the product was not available for sale. (It is still being advertised as available). Not wanting to buy anything else I contacted the company to request they delete my online account. I received no reply. I have been trying to contact them on and off ever since to request my right to erasure of my data but continue to be completely ignored, which is a breach of consumer rights. If this company gets hacked and my data is stolen I will be very annoyed considering the effort I have taken to repeatedly request the deletion of my online account and all data held on me.

The best independent dealer on the street

In the last 2 months we bought 2 LG TVs from Garlicks

The reason we bought them from H Garlicks is the service that we have received over the best part of 25 years

The attention to detail is incredible and our thanks goes to Martin especially as he just does a professional job

Five Star Service

We purchased a new Hotpoint dryer that was supplied & installed by Harry Garlic. We had issue after issue (Attended by Hotpoint Engineers) all within the first 6 months. The staff at Harry Garlic told us not to call Hotpoint out if we had further issues but to call to see them which we did.

Harry Garlic swapped our dryer out for a brand new Samsung within 24 hours which has been fantastic.

I cannot praise the staff at Harry Garlic enough for being thoroughly professional & providing a World Class Service

It’s a MASSIVE Five Stars for us ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My TV packed up on Monday night with…

My TV packed up on Monday night with dark blue flickering screen and no sound. I rang Clitheroe branch on Tuesday morning. A friend had recommended Harry Garlick as I was unsure of where to go for a new tv, not having lived here very long. I spoke to Scott who was very helpful. I decided to go into the shop to look at televisions. We discussed possible repairs or replacement. Scott was brilliant - not pushy at all, just objective and very helpful. I can’t recommend him highly enough. I ordered a Panasonic and it was scheduled for delivery and installation today (Friday). However Scott rang me on Wednesday morning to say would I be in on Thursday, which was excellent! Sure enough I had a phone call on Thursday giving an estimated time slot for delivery which turned out to be exact. I’m sorry I didn’t get the installer’s name but he was great too - very professional and personable, explaining everything to me. What an excellent service all round! Local shop with a reputation to uphold and no wonder they are so well thought of!

Excellent new washing machine

Walked into the Barnoldswick shop late on Friday afternoon, looking for a Bosch or similar washing machine. An excellent AEG machine was recommended, equal quality but with an additional 5 year warranty, and it was delivered on Tuesday, our old one being taken away too. It's been working hard since then, and I'm very impressed with the level of knowledge and service. Thank you.

I bought a TV from the Padiham store in January 2025.
Trying five times to register on the Samsung site for the extended warranty I was unable for some reason unable to do so.
I rang Harry Garlick store and the gentleman there was amazing.
He guided me through finding the serial number of my TV and then he registered it for me.
THANKYOU
This is were your local shop ie Harry Garlicks wins hands down over buying on line.
If you are in doubt please stop doubting and give Harry Garlicks a go.
I know where I'm going for my next TV.

Excellent service

Went into the store in Padiham a couple of weeks ago for a new fridge freezer. Received a warm welcome from Paul. I appreciated that Paul offered his advice, we were not sure which one to buy, but Paul did not try to pressure us or try to sell us the most expensive item like some other stores. Ordered Sat delivered Wed. We also got a call first thing on Wed with a delivery slot. They arrived on time and very carefully installed the fridge freezer took all the packaging away along with the old fridge freezer. Will definitely be back next time we need anything else, fantastic service.

I bought a tv on line in 2021 which I was a bit hesitant with,( I need not of been.)Andy delivered it also installed it for me.nearly 4yrs later the tv broke down, I rang Andy for advice, he looked into this for me straight away, informed me I had a 5yr warranty!! He gave me information of who to call and he also called them himself. I needed the invoice which I couldn’t find , I rang up and Graham sorted it straight away . I am now getting a replacement tv which I am delighted with. Andy and Graham are a credit to the company and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future ,the after sales service is second to none, thanks again!

Amazing customer service from Harry Garlick

We bought a fridge freezer from Curry’s less than a year ago and it failed four days before Christmas (but that’s another story!) so rang Harry Garlick customer service, who explained my options to get hold of a replacement before Christmas. I visited the Padiham branch and Paul spent some time running through the fridge freezers on display that I could take away with me. On Paul’s recommendation I chose a Beko 50/50, which suited our needs. I can’t recommend Harry Garlick highly enough for their customer service and attention to detail. A totally difference customer service experience from Curry’s, which has been totally lacking.
