Brilliant Service!

I recently ordered a Dolce & Gabbana Visor from HEWI, after seeing it pop up online. I had been searching for this product since Nicki Minaj wore it on her 2020 “WHOLE LOTTA MONEY” single cover, with BIA. I had never ordered from HEWI before and having read reviews online, it put me off, entirely. However, I decided to risk it, as it was such a good price. The item came very quickly and just as described. The customer service was excellent, the price was fantastic, and the delivery was very fast! I am incredibly happy with my order, and I will be ordering from HEWI again.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!! Purchased an item. When it arrived it looks like a second as damaged stitching and the belt is missing. I have contacted them several times, by email and message, and no response. Now stuck with a garment I would never have purchased if i had the full facts.

I entered into their VIP seller…

I entered into their VIP seller programme in November 24 ,I had a large quantity of my own personal items mainly shoes ,scarves some fine jewellery which they agreed to sell ,I was given a designated account manager who was dealing with the account and everything at first seemed to be going well ,then the problems started to occur ,no replying to what’s app ,no payments as promised in fact no communication at all ! To date they owe me nearly £20k ,you cannot get hold of anyone ,they are very willing to sell your items not as willing to pay you for them though .I pulled my remaining items and asked for them to be returned and said I wanted them returned immediately but surprise surprise two of my high end jewellery items sold before they could be returned !!
I cannot even get into my account now and today I have taken it legal as I am absolutely fed up and have given up hope of ever getting an answer or payment !
This has been a horrendous experience for me and I wish I had never gone into selling or even dealing with them on any level

Beware

Beware, I have been chasing a refund for an item that was never dispatched by the seller and have had full refund accepted, but never paid, despite chasing for weeks. I was a loyal customer, but something is badly wrong here and i would be cautious particularly if you are buying/selling a high value item.

ViP items lost and no payment

Sold numerous items over the years as a VIP seller. Everything was great until around 12 months ago. No payments since October 2024. I'm owed around £3600. Opened a court claim and i have been forced to reported them to action fraud and trading standards. Please read the reviews before using this company. You will loose your money.

BEWARE

Have been a loyal customer for a number of years. Ordered a relatively low value item and waited for it to be shipped. It was never shipped. In accordance with their Ts and Cs the customer should be refunded within 3 days if the Seller refuses to ship. I chased numerous times to be refunded. They kept sending me holding messages or not replying. It took me over 4 weeks to get a refund and only when I threatened legal action and to post negative social media reviews. I will never use this company again. Having checked their financial accounts I would strongly avoid as they are heavily in debt and have cash flow problems - hence the reason they are withholding refunds and payments for sold items.

Very troubling concerned will lose money entirely….

I had a terrible experience with this seller. There were no goods delivered, no refund offered, and absolutely no communication from them. It's very questionable, and I urge others to avoid this seller at all costs! They should be thoroughly investigated. Isn’t it fraudulent to accept payment for items that are never delivered? I also wonder if the sellers are aware that their items have been sold and if they might be victims in this situation as well. I’ve emailed the seller three times and haven't received any response. HEWI you need to sort this out!!!!

AVOID selling with HEWI!

AVOID selling with HEWI!
I sold my item over a month ago and despite on their website saying payment 7-14 after customer accepts order …… nothing!
No response to my emails including customer care(!) department or their generic email address and no response to phone messages as they don’t pick up the phone either.
Appalling way to treat people who entrust their items to them.
I just wish I had checked the reviews as it appears I am not alone in chasing my
money ….

Appalling Service

First time I have used this business. After placing an order, I heard nothing for 5 weeks. I made numerous phone calls, online messages, WhatsApp, texts and emails without any response to try and establish the status. I then found it necessary to raise a dispute with my bank as a result of receiving no response. The item ordered subsequently arrived from Poland which I had to return as it was damaged and unsuitable . The return process was a nightmare and I was accused by HEWI for the delay in refund, for having raised a dispute!!! For those in a similar situation I only managed to obtain any dialogue through WhatsApp. Never again!

Still waiting for my payment

Still waiting for my payment. Buyer has paid Hewi. Do not sell anything with them, there are numerous court actions against this dishonest company. Such a shame.

Terrible at communicating and payments

I have sold 33 items with HEWI and have had to chase payment for 32 of those items. I have been extremely patient but I am no longer going to use their services after my final items with them sell. One of my items has sold and completely disappeared from my sold items! You need to keep track of everything, if you dont they will not pay!

I ordered and paid for a coat on May…

I ordered and paid for a coat on May 31st and was advised this would be shipped within one week. I contacted them after one week only to be advised the seller had moved warehouse and there was a mix up as to where the coat was. I chased every other day up to June 16th when I asked for a full refund. I was advised this would take 3-5 working days. I have been calling (mailbox full so can’t leave a message), e mailing (no response) and what’s app messaging where you are advised it is being dealt with or someone will call you! I am currently £1049 out of pocket but will pursue them through the correct channels if I don’t have full refund by Monday 30th June!
I would advise others to avoid purchasing from HEWI!!

County Court Summons issued to HEWI on…

County Court Summons issued to HEWI on 6 May 2025 for non-payment of money due from sales.
Sent to their company registered address in Bicester.
To date, 26 June 2025 HEWI has not responded.
I have contacted a media/press outlet that are showing interest in doing an exposure.
The image this company promotes is far removed from the reality.
Take a look at Google reviews.
HEWI appears to be a FRAUDULENT company.
HEWI owes me £2147.58 from my 7 Sales since January 2025.
I have sent numerous emails to the following addresses:-
payments at hardlyeverwornit.com
support at hardlyeverwornit.com
jake.k at hardlyeverwornit.com
and had numerous phone calls, but I have yet to receive my money, despite them stating each time that I would receive it imminently.
Despite my persistent attempts to reach out, HEWI now remains unresponsive. Emails go unanswered, phone calls are ignored, and even WhatsApp messages receive no reply.
HEWI's fraudulent practices are not just affecting me, but also other private sellers as can be seen here with the reviews. It's alarming to think that without us, HEWI would not have a business, yet they continue to scam us.
It's a feeling of betrayal when a company like HEWI, which we trusted, treats us with such little regard. The constant lies and the numerous negative reviews about the lack of payment make me wonder if HEWI is insolvent. They are holding £1000s of our money.
It's crucial that we take a stand against HEWI's fraudulent practices. I have reported the company to ACTION FRAUD, and I am also initiating a COUNTY COURT SUMMONS. I urge any other seller in a similar situation to take similar actions.
If you want to sell your items, I recommend using VESTIAIRE. They are a far superior company. It's easy to contact them, and payment is received exactly when stated - you don't even have to ask!

I have requested a return for the item…

I have requested a return for the item as it came with no authenticity documents and you have repeatedly ignored my emails and messages regarding a return. Incredibly poor customer service - do you even have a customer service team?? Would not recommend this as a website for purchasing designer goods, vestiare and other competitors offer much more open and honest communication and clearer information and respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner. Extremely disappointing

Research

Shocking amount of commission pushing the prices up. The sellers buy from online auctions mostly and charge in most cases 70% they're purchase price, then HEWI'S commission. Try the saleroom auctioneers and look for the venue to save the saleroom commission too.
This is what Kathryn ann ogle does named kate ogle jewellery. She can make up tonand over £1000 a day, Your welcome.

NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD A WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. I am not one to leave a bad review, I am truly at my tipping point and feel others should be warned. I placed an order on May 2 and it was never shipped until I contacted HEWI on May 12. When it was finally shipped the team did not even acknowledge that they forgot about my order. Not only did they not offer any compensation for this delay the item was sent back to their warehouse on May 16 because it was unable to be delivered. That was fine as I obviously expected the item to immediately be resent to me. I was wrong. From May 16 until June 12 I was trying to explain to the team that DPD confirmed the parcel was redelivered to their warehouse, unfortunately, nobody from their team was bothered to call DPD and would only check the old tracking information. (I found out this information myself from a quick 5 min phone call with DPD on two separate occasions). Even though I truly just wanted to receive the items, finally on June 12 I gave up because nobody was helping and just feeding incorrect information over and over again and I asked for a full refund for my order. To my HORROR, the HEWI team they wont issue me a refund as the items are NOT with them (again because they are looking at old tracking information and refuse to pick up any phone). Clearly I am very upset at this point becaues from my side HEWI are refusing to send the items that DPD confirmed was delivered on May 16 and refusing me a refund. Again of course, all of this is without any apologies or acknowledging all the time and headache I had been battling with their team for a month. Later in the day at I get a random email from DPD saying they are expecting a parcel that will be delivered to me. I screenshot this email and sent it to the team and they confirmed this was done by them on Friday afternoon of June 12 and there was a mix up and my parcel will finally be on the way. Again, no compensation was offered and I myself asked if AT THE LEAST the shipping cost could be compensated. (it is also the highest shipping cost for any UK retailer just to have parcels sent within the UK, especially when you're not even receiving them). I received my £12 refund for the shipping and I stupidly believed that the team was finally sending my parcel. Due to this belief I ordered ANOTHER item from the website late on Friday night. Worried about my original order I kept checking the DPD tracking info on Monday throughout the day. According to the tracking information DPD was yet to receive the parcel from HEWI. This made me worried as I kept checking through the evening, but I thought it was fine they're finally on top of it. On Tuesday morning I received a shipping notification from Royal Mail that the second order I made from HEWI will be with me the next day on Wednesday June 18. On Wednesday June 18 my order was shipped with Royal Mail and was received by my original order STILL has not been dropped off to DPD. At this point I am EXTREMELY angry and don't know what to do. Please also note that the dress I ordered on Friday June 12 was not even shipped in a box, it was in a small plastic envelope and the shipping cost was pasted on the bag which was £3.50 so I am not sure why we are being charged £8 for shipping ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE NOT RECEIVING THE ITEMS AND EVEN MORE SO ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO HELP WITH SHIPPING ISSUES!!! Finally, yesterday I contacted HEWI again on June 18 (please keep in mind my original order was placed on May 2) to let them know DPD never received the parcel they were suppose to send and the team member I was speaking to had no idea what I was talking about and was sending all the old information again from May 12. At this point I am totally out of options and don't know what to do because nobody even answers the landline phone to try and calmly explain this situation to someone. Truly all I want is the 2 missing items I ordered because I really love them and would love to wear them on holiday. Struggling to see how I will ever use this service again in the future.

DO NOT LIST your items with this company. They don’t pay sellers for the items were sold. I had a terrible experience of getting my money from them, they don’t answer their phones, ignore emails.Reading the other reviews, I am not the one and the same situation. I already contacted their press partners such as The Times and The Guardian regarding this issue.
