I like the earplugs, but disagree with the price increase. In October 2022, one pair of the original cost $17.50 ... by February 2025, it increased to $22.50 ... and now in June 2026, they cost $25.... See more

The ear plugs didn’t quite work out for my ears but the company couldn’t be more helpful. Quick to respond to my queries and immediately refunded the money when I contacted them. Fantastic customer service!
I was about to write my own review, but I can see that it would a copy paste of Peter Holloway's. Absolutely useless product.
Really poor product. If they don't just fall out of your ears (or worse, get stuck in them because they are so narrow and small) then they won't reduce the noise whatsoever. I admire the idea of creating an eco friendly alternative to foam ear plugs, but these are next to useless, and possibly even a bit dangerous with nothing on them to stop them going all the way into your ear canal.
I purchased the discovery pack because I wasn't sure what size to get. Unfortunately none of the sizes worked for me. I emailed customer service and they explained that because I've used foam earplugs for years I've expanded my ear canal so even their largest size is too small. They were very kind and refunded me! It's a shame as I'd love to switch to happy ears but if you have small ears then you should be fine. Can't fault their customer service.
The ear plugs were uncomfortable for me and didn't block much sound at all. I do however give them high marks for customer service as I e-mailed them saying so and got a refund credited to paypal and confirmation from them within 5 minutes of sending it....so if you want to try them, they are obviously a fair minded company and worth a try.
I genuinely laughed out loud at how ineffective these are and how I fell for the great reviews and a price point like a lot of other people have mentioned here it seems. Purchased these because I can hear neighbours through the walls in my new flat and it literally does not mask any sound whatsoever. This is having tried all 3 sizes and inserting them at different angles and pressures to try and find a sweet spot. It simply makes sounds more tinny, not quieter in the slightest. Given the price of them, I guess I will have to take this as a lesson for the future. What a glorious waste.
My husband and I have been sleeping in separate rooms for around 5 years now due to his snoring. We decided to try share a room again a few months ago so I’ve been trying different ear plugs. First I tried the foam ones. They were too big for my ears, even rolled up as tight as possible, by the time I put one into my ear it had expanded too much to fit also they gave me a very bad pain in both ears. Next I tried the wax ones. They did block the sound very well but gave me awful pressure pains in my ears that stayed with me for a couple of weeks. So my husband was sent back to his own room again. Then I came across Happy ears online and bought a small and medium pair. The small fit perfect and I’m happy to say I’m sharing a bed again with my husband for the past few weeks. When his snoring is very loud I still hear it a bit but it sounds way off in the distance so doesn’t bother me, apart from that I can’t hear a thing except my own breathing. Two little things I have found that help are when you have them inserted give them a tiny twist and you will feel them creating a seal in your ear otherwise you may still be able to hear. Also I cut some of the stem off to make them more comfortable as I’m a side sleeper. I love them, they stay in place all night and no ear pressure pain at all. I’ve stocked up on them now as I’m terrified I’ll lose one......... Also make sure you have the correct size as the wrong size won’t work. The medium size just dulls the sound for me but the small blocks it.
After reading such positive reviews I decided to give this a try. It is so disappointing to find my $2 foam plugs work better than these. They do not block the surrounding noise at all and definitely do not block out my partners snoring. The sound is somewhat "dampened". I purchased the starter pack with the 3 sizes - which I can barely tell the difference between at a cost of $40. None of them work at all. I do not understand how they are receiving such glowing reviews.
Good quality. Quite pricey for what they are but they do the job and customer service is brill and they communicate with you very well
After years of using foam earplugs every night, I decided to go for a more sustainable and reusable option. I didn't mind investing some money to make sure they worked very well and lasted a long time. I ended up choosing happy ears after a lot of reviews and such, by buying thr multisize option to make sure it fits and works properly.. ok, after playing around with them for a while, making sure they are perfectly fine, I was SO disappointed. I heard everything around me in a muffled way, every footstep, car driving outside, my partner talking quietly. It stung like hell because the price was astronomical, so I was sure it would work.. they don't issue any refund if you are unhappy with the product either, otherwise I would have emailed them instead of right a review.
All of these good reviews.. they must be filtering them
Great for motorcycle riders! I've been using these for a few weeks now and they are great on the bike! They are super comfy and cut out plenty of high-frequency wind noise. Highly recommended!
I struggle with ear plugs as I have a very small ear canal. They are all too big, fall out or are painful. I took a chance on these as I saw they did different sizes and ordered the small earplugs at the cost of £10. I hoped I wouldn’t be disappointed. They arrived quickly so I tried them and to my surprise they fitted in my ears perfectly. One came out the first couple of nights so I was a bit worried but once I got used to putting them in properly I’ve had a lovely sleep. Easy to clean too. Hopefully they will last a while but I’d definitely buy them again. Surprised at the negative reviews as I was happy with mine.
Sadly the Large Happy Ears were to small for me. At the moment I still use Ohropax Soft and they just absorb sound the best. I started using them or 5 years now. The Quality and packaging is nice and I would try an XL Version. My mother is now using them.
I made the mistake not only to buy the product, I also contacted the company and expressed my disappointment. I got a very rude answer, where the person answering, who did not even sign with his name, it was not signed at all, accused me of having insinuated that they are "thieves" and "con artists", words I had not used or even suggested. The whole answer was so defensive, and so aggressive, that I was quite shocked. This is a business that cant handle critique. They cant even respond in a professional way with the minimum politeness. Their attitude towards customers is "either you're with us or against us". They are like a sect. And the earplugs are rubbish. Like the company. They need to work on their public relations abilities and also not market these earplugs for sleep because they are apparantly more for making sound more "pure", when listening to music, not to shut out noise when sleeping.
Save your money and buy regular earplugs. They don't work and they are not even close to being comfortable when inserted. I tried all of the sizes and none of them worked properly! I bought them because of all the good reviews on Google but then I noticed that they all came from their own website. One reviewer reported that her "bad" review was deleted. What a waste....
I bought them because of the good reviews but they don’t work and after a while it is a little bit painful to wear them because they have hard plastic parts (i bought size S) They are like any other earplug but two or three times more expensive. Save some money and buy the normal ones in the pharmacy.
