I usually really like this store and…

I usually really like this store and their products, and I have ordered from them several times before. Unfortunately, this recent experience has been very disappointing.

I was charged for DHL shipping, but later informed that my order would be sent via Royal Mail instead. I kindly asked for confirmation of the shipping cost because, when I checked, Royal Mail prices for similar small parcels appeared to be significantly lower.

Instead of simply providing proof or clarification, my order was cancelled and I was told to place a new one. I find this reaction unnecessary and unprofessional. If the shipping cost they mentioned was correct, it should have been easy to show evidence.

While I still like the products themselves, this experience has made me lose trust in the store and I am disappointed with how the situation was handled.

Originally, I was going to leave a 4-star review, with the 1 star knocked off for the 5% return handling fee that they say they are charged by the warehouse. However, the overall price of the scarf should take that into consideration and cover it.

This is an online shop, and the colours on the website versus in person are way off, a blue scarf is just grey. This is understandable, as there are a number of factors that impact this, but charging someone 5% to return an item is ridiculous.

Lastly, when providing my feedback, which was very neutral and simply shared how I felt and my disappointment, they came out swinging.

I always found it strange that the company isn’t bigger, as the scarf is made of good material, but based on the way the company treats its customers, I completely understand why they only have 40k followers in comparison to, say, the over 600k that Hijab House has.

This company is totally unfair as I…

This company is totally unfair as I received a hijab that was wrong in size and returned with informing them this. So according to their policy first of all there is a 5% deducted on the return amount and then to my disgust they took another 10% off a total of £7.50 whereas the scarf was sent back folded just like it had arrived to me in same packaging and I paid for Royal Mail signed for. This policy they got for taking off further 10% as per policy not packed properly is a pure scam just to make money out of the customer as well as getting their product back! As customer you wished you had taken pics of the product properly packed! I would not recommend anyone to purchase from this company. Also the customer service Laila and Elif were downright rude on emails whilst a customer gets in touch to clarify the different products, writing emails saying ‘can you not read on website’ ridiculous company and service!!!!

Good quality but slightly overpriced and slightly arrogant customer service

Hijabs are good quality but slightly overpriced. Beware of customer service, as they can come across as a bit arrogant and not the most helpful.

As an online store, colours are not always as seen on screen, yet you are not allowed to return or replace caps for hygienic reasons.
I bought 2 identical caps by accident that I swear I did not take either of them out of the package (because I could see the colour was not what I expected at all) but still was not allowed to return either of them.

Overpriced Scarfs

Unfortunately, I expected better quality Hijabs for the price I paid.
I think I was most dissapoiinted with the scarf that appears to look like a Burqa but in fact it is a rectangular scarf with a separate 30cm piece that you place on your forehead and tie back to create the effect.
I returned this as I purchased it for ease and it just seemed like a long process.

I also returned another piece but on the website it says you can't return it because of hygiene reasons which I did not see, I don't know why it was an option to return on the little paper they sent out without stating that on there.

I did keep one scarf because it was a nice print but I don't think I would pay that much for the scarf, once I put a pin through it it pulls at the threads and creates a hole.

P.s. mid order the name was changed from AWRA to HÁNM.
