HandicapMD.com provides convenient online medical evaluations to help people take the medical certification step for disability parking placards and related parking accommodations, when eligible. We’re a private telehealth service—not a DMV or government agency—and the official issuing authority in your state ultimately approves and issues any placard or credential. Our goal is to make a confusing process feel simple and respectful. Many people who need accessible parking are juggling pain, mobility limitations, fatigue, post-surgical recovery, heart or lung conditions, neurologic symptoms, or other challenges that make walking long distances unsafe or unrealistic. We help by guiding patients through a structured online intake, reviewing relevant health information, and completing the clinician portion of the required paperwork when medical criteria are met. We also aim to explain “what happens next” so you know how to submit your completed documentation to the correct issuing authority and avoid common delays. We take privacy seriously and design our process to be straightforward, professional, and easy to follow. If you have questions along the way, our support team is here to help you understand requirements, timelines, and next steps—without judgment. HandicapMD exists to reduce friction in the medical certification step, improve clarity, and help eligible individuals access the parking accommodations they need.

Finally Got the Help I Needed – Thank You, HandicapMD!

As a disabled vet dealing with long COVID, every trip out of the house has become a challenge. Breathing issues, extreme fatigue, and joint pain have made walking long distances almost impossible. I didn’t know how I was going to manage, especially with my VA appointments so far out.

Thankfully, I found HandicapMD.com. They treated me with real respect and understanding. The process was simple—I submitted my documents and explained my situation. Within days, I was approved for a temporary handicap placard, and honestly, I broke down in tears. It felt like someone finally saw what I was going through.

This placard has made a huge difference in my life already. I can get closer to entrances, avoid unnecessary strain, and just feel like I'm being cared for again. I can’t thank the team enough—Dr. Jackson-Scott and everyone at HandicapMD truly get it

The Real Deal

HandicapMD is legit. I know there's a lot of similar sites that may not be as creditable, but I can attest to this one being the real deal. I set up a next day appointment, then uploaded my health documents. The next day I met with the doctor, we discussed my documents, and he approved me right there. The next day I was emailed the proper forms to fill out for my state, I signed them, and I sent them back. A little over a week later I got the documents back signed by the doc, and I was able to get my placard the same day. I couldn't be more pleased.

HandicapMD absolutely makes life way…

HandicapMD absolutely makes life way more easier to get your handicap placards. Especially in California where the DMV can be brutal. For veterans HandicapMD can be vital because the Office of Military and Veterans Affairs were NO help! Dr. Eric Jackson-Scott was great and Ena Doron was exceptional and will be an asset through your journey with HandicapMD.

I chose HandicapMD over them- and I’m so glad I did!

I looked at both Dr. Handicap and HandicapMD before making my decision. What stood out immediately was how transparent and responsive HandicapMD was from the start. They replied right away, and the process was smooth and professional. The doctor is on the website. I had a personal consultation with Dr Jackson-Scott to discuss my conditions, and they quickly provided the certification I needed for the DMV.

Despite seeing a few negative reviews about other services, my experience with HandicapMD was nothing short of excellent. Every step was timely, clear, and handled with care. I got my placard—yay! Highly recommend!

Handicap MD is a Nightmare

Handicap MD is a nightmare, (not to be confused with Dr Handicap) Several Dr. Handicap reviews on Trustpilot.com actually state Handicap MD. Here are my experiences with Handicap MD: 1.My credit card was charged 3 times, at $189 each. Plus, later charged $99. 2.I got no response from the company. When I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company, I started getting messages from the stated owner of HandicapMD saying that the excess billing charges would only be refunded if I first dropped the dispute.
Beware of this site!

Filing a charge dispute after an evaluation has been completed and the MEDICALLY CERTIFIED DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN DELIVERED accessed AND THE HANDICAP PLACARD IS RECEIVED is a gross misuse of the dispute process.

We cannot mention diagnosis etc in a public review.

However, your description does not match our documented fulfillment of all services. Our records show you signed up, completed the evaluation, were approved, and a HandicapMD clinician medically certified your DMV paperwork. Your completed forms were delivered to your portal and were downloaded by you. You then sent a message confirming receipt of the medically certified DMV forms. You receieved your handicap placard - and after that, you filed a dispute.

Filing a charge dispute after an evaluation has been completed and the medically certified documents have been delivered and accessed is a gross misuse of the dispute process. If a bank reverses payment after documented fulfillment, the balance still remains due for the completed medical certification service, and we have the right to bill for services rendered with timestamped proof of completion, portal delivery, download logs, and message history.
