For a couple of years I was unable to open my one email account and recently I was able to open it and review my emails when I received an email from this company recently and found out that someone has fraudulently obtained my banking information and was using this company I immediately closed the account but trying to information on the account with them is like pulling teeth
WHY IS THIS STILL HAPPENING IF ITS A KNOWN SCAM
Scam!!! I like others was trying to download a parking app on a rainy dark night in the car park . MI parking was what I wanted , lots of stuff happened on the screen quickly and I knew something was wrong
I couldn’t find the app I wanted but knew something had happened. Only later an email from PayPal alerted me a payment set up for £5.99 weekly I cancelled the subscription on PayPal account and will report asap

Can I put 0 star please
Can I put 0 star please? Scammers!! Taking money from my PayPal for a reoccurring payment I hadn’t set up!
Scammers
Scammers. They managed to access my PayPal account and set up a recurring weekly payment. They took £5.99. I reported it to PayPal and they said they investigated it and there was no unauthorised use. I can only conclude PayPal are in on it.
Payments set up without agreement.
I was downloading a pay as you park app, and a lot of garbage ads popped up. I then got an email saying Hamster Hut were going to start charging me £5.99 a week. I went back into my PayPal and nothing was set up. It says I'm due to pay these people tomorrow but its an absolute scam - I've not subscribed to anything of theirs. Its a disgrace that they can attach these charges and payments without you actually agreeing to them. The parking was provided by Evology so I'm wondering if the two are connected.
Scammers
Like many others, I have been scammed by this company by charging me £5.99 for something that I didn’t not subscribe to. I have downloaded Lidl plus shopping app from apple and then to my surprise I was charged a recurring amount from these scammers. I also believe paypal is aware of them but not doing anything about it.

Took money out of my PayPal account and were going to do it weekly. I have no idea who they are. How did they do that without my authority?
Hamster is taking money from my PayPal…
Hamster is taking money from my PayPal account weekly. PayPal says it is a subscription but I have no idea what it is for or how these scamers got my account information. Through the Hamster site listed on PayPal I believe I have canceled my subscription and I have asked PayPal for a full refund. I'm waiting to see how PayPal responds. PayPal needs to stop these crooks!

They set up a regular debit from my PayPal account. I guess i must have clicked on something but i really don't know what it was. Not obvious at all. The first time i knew about the subscription was when PayPal took the money from my credit card
SCAMMERS
Scanned a qr code in Toby Carvery to join their rewards club and was asked to enter paypal as a method of paying.
I always thought I was "Scam savvy" but apparently not. I had £5.99 taken straight away and when I checked my paypal account it was set to take the same amount on a weekly basis. I have cancelled the transactions and all the payment cards linked to my paypal account. Beware this company.
NB. In the past two days I purchased a dashcam for my car, when scanning the QR code in the included paperwork for the set up instructions, I was taken straight to this site again. How are they doing this ? Luckily after being caught unaware and falling for it last week, I didn't fall for it again.

Scammers legitimised by PayPay all i did was get the qr code from my new fridge freezer, thinking i was activating my 10 year guarantee. I was then asked to log into my PayPal account, it all happened so fast. Then i receive an email saying when my subscription would be taken by hamster-hut. Whats going on???

This is defenitly the biggest robery I ever seen, the took almost € 90.-- from my banc account even do I canceled my so called subscripción within the 7 days thiefs and crooks that's all I can say about this €90,- is about what I spend on food each month.
Scammers and bullshit
Scammers and bullshit!
They took money out of my account and I didn't sign up for anything. PayPal won't reimburse me and neither will this stupid company! Apparently PayPal got something saying I received the purchase.. what purchase was it considering I haven't received anything! I am so annoyed by the outcome of this situation especially when all I can see online is how this company scams everyone and takes their money! I'm a single freaking mom and I need every bit of my money to survive day to day yet these people never care about anyone else and that's more than very apparent! Makes me sick to my stomach! Sure hope they enjoy the funds and stealing from people. Karma really is a b**** so enjoy that too!
What a bunch of scammers!!
What a bunch of scammers!!! I didn't set up an account with them. I had £5.99 taken out of my bank account, then I had an email from PayPal telling me I would have a further £5.99 two weeks later. I emailed them & asked them to cancel any further payments, had an email back saying no further payments would be taken, waiting to see if they keep their word!
Highly recommend

Hamster Hut Content Club ::MjgyODg4OTk=
I didn’t sign up for this. Still had $7.99 taking from my account.

I was tricked into a subscription by signing up to a 'free' trial for something - can't remember what. I wasn't aware of any charges until PayPal e-mailed to say a recurring payment for £5.99 a week had been set up! Check your recurring payments on PayPal and cancel them
Honestly they are absolutely horrible
Honestly they are absolutely horrible, I am a teenager and I rarely get any money, and they were pulling every dime I had. However I’ll hand it to them the second I emailed their PayPal email and threatened the report of fraud if it wasn’t cancelled and in seconds they emailed me back and it was cancelled. So I don’t know if anyone else tried that, but if they charge me again I will be reporting fraud and demanding a refund or compensation for their scam and abuse.
I have never heard of this company…
I have never heard of this company UNTIL I started receiving emails from Paypal saying "Thanks for signing up." Which I had not! Also, many emails from Paypal regarding an autopay set up to start taking money 10 days (from 2/3/24). I cancelled the Paypal account about 7 months go, but someone used our email address and opened up an account. Per phone call to Paypal, the woman closed the bogus account. Hallelujah! I also cancelled the credit card on 2/3/24, so hopefully this will be the end for me.
