I ordered a generator through B&Q…
I ordered a generator through B&Q website, they don't keep the size of generator in stock, it came from Hampshre Generators, yes great delivery, then had a problem with generator, that's when the problems started, one & half months trying to return the generator emails backward and forward, still nothing, started phoning, eventually got hold of Lucy, still waiting for generator to be picked up, I now have had to buy another generator as bank holiday weekend is here, have asked for a refund, all I get is apology one & months worth now even apology on phone conversation, I still have a broken generator, i will never buy from them at again, so be warned.

I ordered a power station which was shown as in stock. I got an immediate email telling me they were out of stock which means they knew it was out of stock when I placed the order so it was falsely advertised (which is illegal). At some stage they then cancelled the order WITHOUT TELLING ME and I only discoevered to day because I happened to log into my PayPal account! So I have been left with a show to attend this weekend and no power. Do NOT believe their marketing hype - they have no integrity - deal with them at your peril.

Great customer service
Great customer service. I had an issue with my generator and because it was still under warranty they organised collection and drop off and got the issue fixed. They've been very helpful from start to finish. I was in contact with a lady called Lucy and she has been incredible. I would highly recommend this company.

Excel 10kw enclosed generator
I purchased the Excel 10kw enclosed diesel generator recently and it was sent out a couple of days later. Unfortunately the unit was damaged during transit, so I immediately rang Hampshire generators who asked for photos of the damage and the serial number of the generator. They were extremely helpful in offering me either immediate repair or a replacement as soon as one was available. As the damage seemed quite significant and I was not sure of any long-term effects this might have, so I asked for a replacement. I was fully informed of a due delivery date which I accepted. The correspondence with the company was excellent and was kept fully informed of progress along the way, so I would not hesitate to recommend them. The generator itself seems very solidly built and cheaper than others of the similar output, with heavy metal framework a solid engine and generator and simple controls. With regular maintenance at the given times this unit should last many years. I bought the unit as an upgrade for my off grid workshop requiring an average output of 6kw at 32amps, only running for about 15 hours a week.

Scam artists
Possibly the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. Sold me a faulty product - wouldn’t replace or fix it even though it was under warranty. Told me months worth of lies, lost me a lot of income. Don’t waste your money.

Great service from Hampshire Generators and Lucy Miller. My Bluetti AC240P developed a fault and Lucy contacted Bluetti and arranged for it to be collected to be inspected. Unfortunately it couldn't be fixed and I now have a new one! Only buy a Bluetti product from an authorised dealer!

I need a reliable generator to top up marine batteries during winter months when there is limited solar available.
Contacted Hampshire Generators, they were quick to respond and the unit I bought was on promotion with a 2 year warranty.
Great service, great price and the generator has done over 20 hours work in the 4 days since I bought it without missing a beat.
I had previously bought a new generator online from a retailer, no workshop and no expertise. The unit quickly failed and even with a refund I lost money as well as time. Hampshire Generators has the workshop and expertise to ensure only good quality machines are stocked.

Excellent After Sales Service
I would like to comment on the after sales service provided by Lucy as she has been really helpful. I enquired about returning one of the items I had purchased as it was surplus to my needs and Lucy responded to my email very quickly, explaining the process and then following up with me so she could look out for the returned item and refund the money. I have never received such an efficient after sales service. I would definitely recommend this company. Thank you Lucy.
