Garage left me with zero tyre pressure
I have just cross verified the car status messages and the cameras. After my car tyre swap @ Lodge Tyres Spalding PE11 3LL, one tyre was left with zero pressure, which I didn’t notice when leaving the garage. Within three minutes, a warning appeared on the dashboard. I thought it required calibration after the tyre change even Mr. Sam said but that's not the problem here. I drove with zero pressure on it from garage. I left garage at 9:03am as per the car camera and got the message at 9:06 on my dashboard.
Also, I couldn’t stop on the road as it was a countryside road with fast-moving vehicles. There was no side parking available for several miles and fuel station to refill, but I heard a noise twice. My mistake I should stop and return to the garage with flat tyres. After driving to the nearest fuel station, I found the tyre completely flat (see pictures). I called them, but they said, “We don’t have a service vehicle at the moment, and no idea why this happened.”
I removed the tyre and tried inflating it, but it now leaks due to a crack, likely caused by driving with zero pressure from the garage, which allowed the rim to damage it. This confirms the tyre was not inflated after the change. Please take better care of your customers. People form opinions about Lodge Tyres based on what others share. I was referred by my colleague, who is already a customer of Lodge Tyres. I strongly trust the car’s infotainment system and cameras in my Volvo, which accurately record what happened.
