Grapefruit in the last two deliveries were not sweet at all. Last year crop were much better. This is why I order them this year and was sadly disappointed.

I eat the grapefruit for breakfast to give me energy and a great start to my day The naval oranges I eat for snacks and to boost my energy & satisfy my sweet cravings. They are so delicious & do the trick! I can’t add pictures as I ate them all and am awaiting another shipment in addition to the Honey Bells which are top of the line and not available long enough for me. Love them!💕

Navels were great. Ruby Reds…not so much. Dad said the grapefruit were undersized with a thick skin (not much larger than the navels) and that they started turning and getting mushy just a few days after arriving.

I sent this to my brother and his wife last year and again this year, they rave about the grapefruit and oranges! They decided to send me a fantastic selection of oranges, apples and pears this year. As I told them after receiving their gift the fruit arrived in great condition, packed nicely and so delicious! I set the pears in my garden window of my kitchen and when I felt that one or two were about at their peak for ripeness I set them in the fridge to cool overnight. These pears were the absolute best that I’ve ever had, perfectly ripe, not mushy nor mealy, sweet and really juicy. Absolutely loved every one! The apples were ripe, sweet, juicy and crisp and the navels are always such a refreshing treat, especially when it’s cold out, reminds me of the Florida sunshine! Thank you!,

The fruit was sour this year. In addition four people to whom I gifted the box, all had spoiled fruit. Every previous year all went well. This year was a disaster.

I wrote a previous review that I was unhappy with the size of the grapefruit. Half size.,Very embarrassing as a gift that I sent.

We ordered twice from Hale Groves. The first box was fine, fruit was reasonably sized and tasty. The second box, however, contained 3 rotten grapefruits and one rotten orange. The grapefruits were very small. Quality control was not exercised on the second shipment.
