After checking the company’s website, I discovered that their “halal” meat comes from animals that are slaughtered while fully conscious, without effective stunning. The animals are awake, feeling everything, as their throats are cut—and often forced to watch other animals being killed the same way.
This is not humane slaughter. It is deliberate animal torture justified in the name of religion. Halal slaughter, as practiced here, is cruel, barbaric, and incompatible with basic animal welfare. I refuse to support any company that profits from or promotes this kind of unnecessary suffering.

Very poor experience with Halalbooking.

I booked a hotel through them based on a heated indoor pool, which was never usable during our stay. This was a key reason for booking and had a big impact on our family holiday.

The main issue is the lack of support—Halalbooking simply sided with the hotel, blamed “weather,” and took no responsibility at all. As the platform I booked through, I expected them to stand by their listings and support their customers.

Extremely disappointing service. I won’t be using them again or recommending them.

The location of Rosa Grand Milano - Starhotels Collezione is excellent, literally a 5-minute walk to the Duomo Cathedral and very central for everything. The hotel building itself is beautiful with classic Milanese elegance, our room was spacious, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. Staff were generally friendly and helpful with recommendations.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The Wi-Fi was often slow and unstable during our stay. The bathroom felt quite small compared to the room size, and the shower pressure was rather weak. Check-out also took longer than expected on our last day.
Overall, it’s a solid 4-star hotel thanks to its prime location and nice design. With better Wi-Fi and slightly improved bathrooms, it would easily be a 5-star experience. Would consider staying again mainly for the convenient central position.

This company supports animal torture, which is what halal is.

The animals is killed without stunning, or only half stunning, which means they wake up or are merely dazed and witness their throats being cut and their friends too.

Halal is disgusting animal torture for the sake of a barbaric religion.
