Great West Casualty Company LIES
This company's insured abruptly changed lanes while driving on I-294 in Illinois on 12/13/2023 and sideswiped my SUV. The Illinois State Police were called and wrote a crash report. The police officer came to my vehicle and told me 2 things after he prepared his report.
1.) He reviewed the dash cam video from the semi that hit my vehicle.
2.) It was obvious from the video that the driver of the semi was completely to blame.
The police report states that the driver of the semi abruptly changed lanes and sideswiped my vehicle. I have a copy of the report.
Great West Casualty Company is trying to tell me that the police officer could NOT review the video at the time of the crash and that their review of the video shows that I am partly to blame. They are refusing to pay the full amount of the repair.
Why would the Illinois State Police officer lie to me? Obviously he would not. Even more irritating is that Great West Casualty Company has a "Fairness and Honesty" pledge. What a crock!
I would give them less than 1 star if I could.
