Guidedhacking is a perfect site where you can learn about reverse engineering basics, and even further. Ever was interested, but never knew where to start? Guidedhacking is the site where you can fulfill that dream. I wish I knew about the website when I started some years ago. People come everyday asking, and answering questions. No trolls. Worth every penny for donations, and there are thousands of tutorials on the website.

An excellent forum for learning. Tutorials are provided in a logical and easy to follow manner. The members are knowledgeable and provide good advice and help.

My experience with the forum thus far has been limited, I'm still working my way through the basics but what I will say if that what you get out of these resources depends entirely on how motivated you in learning how to hack video games.

To get more to the point, the admin is a smart dude and evidently knows what he's talking about, there is also a plethora of resources authored by him personally. My problem is that by the looks of things, he threatens to ban people who need help as he considers it 'babysitting' and assumes it's because you skipped the beginner tutorials.

I don't want to take away from the effort he's made to share the extensive knowledge he has on the subject, but I was extremely hesitant to pay money to someone who calls people r*tard on the registration page. That's not me trying to 'cancel' him or whatever, because I'm sure he understands that and I know he has his reasons, but it's just something that threw me off when first visiting the forum.

I'll admit that I originally bit the bullet on donating because of the review that mentioned the helpful community of people willing to help you out, but in retrospect I'm a bit suspect of that review.

I'm sorry if this seems a little harsh, I'm only being honest about my experiences here and this is the first page I came across when looking up reviews.

I don't trust them at all. I can't use temp email, I use temps for most sites as I have trust issues. I am sorry, I have problems with sites like theirs in the past.

Edit: A rude response by being defensive! I love this site. These people are actually real and not a bunch of by the book people. I still have trust issues, but I buy.

One of the best websites I’ve found for the needs of learning. Very resourceful with the information it provides. The members are very helpful whenever a question is asked. The page gets more and more information the longer it stays up. And I’m glad to be a part of something that others are constantly learning from especially to the newer programmers!

This site will give you what you expect from it but you will be upset if you are a mentally deer

GH is an awesome community that provides technical training for absolutely free. It's taught me more about Computer Science than I learned through four years in a CS program.

When i first found this site, I was lost and confused. After a few days, with a very helpful community, I was able to get my mind set in the right direction, and with a little bit of a nudge, I was able to step my game up. literally

Plenty of material to read/study, Great examples, and and if you get stuck on a suject, or a spot in your project, there is a massive community of people, who will help you out and get you back on your feet.

Really good place to get started, everyone is very welcoming and unlike a lot of sites on the internet, they make it really easy to know where to go on the site so you're not always getting lost. Another thing to mention is that the way they have the search engine on their site set up, is that it'll actually give you the results you want and it won't just give you some random results that has nothing to do with what your looking up, I don't know how many times I'm trying to search through a forum and it thinks something completely unrelated is what I was looking for, so good job on their end for taking the time and effort on making a search engine that actually works.
